About Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love

About Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love

Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love is an eldercare meal delivery service operating islandwide from Red Cross House on Penang Lane. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, with a 4.9-star rating across 700 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in consistent service quality. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) level, though specific fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly.

Families or seniors looking to engage the service typically begin by assessing the elder's nutritional and dietary requirements — including any medical conditions such as diabetes, dysphagia, or low-sodium needs — before reaching out via phone or the online enquiry form. As this is a meal delivery programme rather than a clinical home care service, the focus is on frequency and dietary fit: how many meals per day are needed, which days of the week, and whether the elder lives alone or with family who can assist at meal times. Delivery coverage is islandwide, so location within Singapore is generally not a barrier.

To get started, contact Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love directly by phone or through their enquiry form to confirm current availability, meal options, delivery schedules, and pricing.

The flow of the day was smooth and well planned from the start till the end. Trainers were friendly, knowledgeable and the teaching style were interactive. Kudos the the Red Cross team! Special thanks to my floor trainer Mr Ambrose for the jokes which helps us to remember the steps better and probe us with questions repeatedly till it stuck into our brains. With lots of practice time and encouragement, our whole team are BCLS &AED certified.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love charge?

Specific pricing for Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love was not publicly available at the time of this listing. As a Red Cross programme, fees may be subsidised or means-tested for eligible seniors, so the out-of-pocket cost can vary considerably depending on the household's financial circumstances and any assistance schemes applied. When enquiring, ask about the per-meal or weekly rate, whether delivery is charged separately, and whether any public holiday surcharges apply. Also confirm whether the programme operates on a subscription or ad hoc basis. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love offer?

Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love is a meal delivery programme, not a live-in or visit-based personal care service. Meals are delivered to the senior's home on scheduled days, typically by trained volunteers or staff, which also provides a light welfare check at the door. This model suits seniors who are relatively independent but need reliable, nutritious meals without the cost or complexity of a full-time caregiver. If the elder requires clinical care, assistance with mobility, or companionship beyond the meal drop-off, a separate home care or day care arrangement would need to be considered alongside this service. For families weighing up options, contacting the programme directly will clarify delivery frequency, meal variety, and whether a trial period is available before committing to a longer arrangement.

Is the service trained and insured?

Singapore Red Cross Meals with Love is operated under the Singapore Red Cross, a well-established humanitarian organisation registered in Singapore. Volunteers and staff involved in meal delivery are trained under Red Cross protocols, and the organisation carries institutional governance and oversight that smaller independent operators typically do not. No specific regulatory licences (such as AIC or MOH registration for clinical home care) were listed for this programme, which is consistent with its nature as a meal delivery rather than a medical or nursing service. If clinical care is a requirement, a separately AIC-registered home care provider should be engaged in parallel. Families should confirm the programme's current insurance arrangements and volunteer welfare-check protocols directly when enquiring.
