Yu Tong went above and beyond in so many ways — always responsive through emails, quick to answer any questions, and willing to help with anything we needed. Her attention to detail and meticulous planning gave us so much peace of mind throughout the entire process. On the wedding day itself, she was a true lifesaver. One moment that stood out to us: while we were changing for our second march-in, she personally brought our main course into the bridal room so we wouldn’t miss our meal — a small gesture, but it really showed how much she cared. We had our destination wedding here last March and I’m writing this because we would really like to express our gratitude to our coordinator Doreen Sng. She’s really the best at her job. From the first meeting till the actual wedding day. Everything was done professionally. She has scheduled meetings for us even though we are overseas. She replies to our questions promptly and every detail is well explained. Every meeting with her was pleasant. She has been very patient and understanding with us. When we arrived in Singapore, she scheduled sound checks and even helped us rehearse our march in walks. She also helped direct our on the day coordinators from the Philippines and even met with them before our wedding day. We are very grateful to have her coordinate our wedding. We also want to thank her teammate, Paolo for assisting us on the actual day. He has been a great help even after the ceremony. I have no regrets holding my wedding here and a big factor to that is because of our coordinator Doreen. I never had to stress or worry with Chijmes because Doreen is very efficient and reliable. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect venue for our wedding reception than CHIJMES Singapore. From the moment we stepped in for our first tour, we were blown away by the elegance and charm of the space. The team at Watabe Singapore made every step of the process seamless and enjoyable. We would like to express our gratitude to Doreen Sng as our wedding coordinator from Watabe Singapore. She has been extremely helpful and patient with us since the start till the end. She has a keen eye for details and amazing operational sense. During our planning phase, Doreen took the initiative to draft out a sequence of events for the day itself (even though we prepared one by ourselves). She helped us review through our sequence of events and provided us constructive feedback on how to make the flow more seamless and cohesive. (e.g. Details like when will be a better time to do wedding cake cutting as the watabe team needs time to prepare it on stage or when to bring up and down the screen for us to showcase our videos / photos and not disrupt phototaking or solemnization). Doreen was also extremely patient with us when we had issues with our credit card (we did manage to settle it on the same day!). She also provided flexibility in the option to pay using multiple credit cards as well. During the actual day itself, we prepared a mirror signage for our guests to enjoy. Even for the slightest detail, Doreen provided feedback on where best we could position the signage. She actively reached out to key point of contacts for our wedding reception and actively helped us keep track of time and solving crises along the way. Our wedding couldn't have been any more smooth and seamless if it wasn't for her. We are deeply appreciative and thankful to have her as our wedding coordinator. Our bridal party were singing praises of how thoughtful, how attentive, how helpful she was during the day itself! Unfortunately, we didn't had a photo with her, but you can spot her in one of our photos where she is wearing a light colored blazer in a black dress!

We decided on Watabe Weddings as they offered an almost complete menu of services. From decor and dining, to logistics and wedding program, Watabe took care of the nitty gritty so that we could enjoy our big day without having to worry about the basics. Our consultant (Doreen) whom we first engaged with followed us throughout the process and also served as our main contact during the wedding day, ensuring arrangements discussed prior were seamlessly executed. Doreen was of great help in providing feedback during the planning process, took note of all our special requests and was a reliable support on the day of. She was attentive, prompt and always pleasant to interact with, enabling us to have a splendid ceremony. The wedding day went better than expected, and the Watabe crew worked seamlessly in the background to ensure guests enjoyed the event without a hitch. Small touches such as petals for the march-in and macarons for door gift added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this venue for a hassle-free event. As a bonus, the historic building of Caldwell House is a photogenic venue and worked very well for day and night photography. We selected the rustic theme (whites, greens and wood elements) and the venue worked well with the colour scheme offered. We are still in awe of how beautiful or wedding turned out to be. ❤️
