Wait time at NDC - 5mins Wait time at Outram Pharmacy >1hr and still waiting No medicine delivery available for NDC patients. Please at this rate just allow us to make an appointment to collect our medication instead of waiting around all day for it
The Outram Polyclinic's care team's degree of care from poly doctors are wonderfully great. 2 bones to pick however are: doctor waiting time and pharmacy waiting time. The waiting time is horrendous up to three hours if you're lucky and up to four and half hours. If you had so much time to kill or to sleep while waiting but if not so go to NHG clinics nearly Kallang NHG polyclinic wink wink the wait time is by half. Otherwise another bone to pick is also the long wait time at the pharmacy. Otherwise you can take your prescription and have it filled at SGH The service staff are also helpful nearby kudos to counter staff Marcus Tan who hands out great insights and impeccable service. Last words I will still come here to change up my polyclinic experience.
It was relatively easy to make an appt via HealthHub. Got an appointment for 12:20, asked to arrive 20min before, I registered at 1156, got to see doctor only about 1 hour after my appointment time. After 30min past my appointment time, I went to check with doc and she informed me 3 more patients before my turn. Dr Lee Fang Chin is apologetic about the wait and explained it is due to backlog. She is thorough and has good bedside manner, could be why she takes time to see each patient. Take note the laboratory and some vaccination department are closed from 1-2pm. If you need any of those services, have to plan your visit or be back at 2pm for follow up. The initiative to move everything to self service from registration to payment really helps to shorten the wait time or no wait if you opt for Speed Pay is great. The payment staff was very helpful & sign me for flexi-Medisave payment option too! Tip: was advised to make early appointments to avoid too wait.
The waiting time is long as there are alot of manual administration. Eg, I was given follow up appointment with no test involved by doc and i have to queue up at 2C counter to fix the appointment. I cannot even use the app or the self help kiosk to book the next appointment! The app n kiosks are such a joke now that cannot even booked the next follow up appointment assigned by doctor! Another thing is that, I need to go to pharmacy to buy the dressing material and bring over to the dressing room. Dressing room don't have basic adhesive tape and cotton?!!! A patient have to run here and there in pain! Come on! 1st world medicine institute but 3rd world polyclinic!
Made an appointment through the app for 2:20pm and got to see the doctor punctually. The doctor did not rush through the consultation and went through many details. The entrance can be confusing since you will arrive at the pharmacy first from the escalator. Move inside to go to the registration counters, and then further inside for the consultation rooms.
