About SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris

About SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris

SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris is a primary care clinic located at 6 Pasir Ris Drive 8, serving residents in the east of Singapore. It is listed as KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. The clinic carries a 2.9/5 rating across 226 Google reviews — a robust sample that suggests a meaningful portion of patients have had less than satisfactory experiences, and prospective visitors should weigh this accordingly.

As a SingHealth-affiliated polyclinic, this clinic operates under the public primary healthcare system, which means Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for government subsidies on consultations, investigations, and medications. The typical first step is to book an appointment by phone or online form to reduce waiting time, though walk-ins are generally accepted. Patients attending for chronic disease management — such as hypertension, diabetes, or lipid disorders — may access the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment. Referrals to specialist outpatient clinics within the SingHealth cluster can be issued here, which is the standard polyclinic-to-SOC pathway for subsidised specialist care at Changi General Hospital and other public hospitals.

To book an appointment or enquire about services, contact the clinic directly by phone or via the online form listed on the KakiList profile.

I recently visited the Dental Department at this polyclinic and I am beyond impressed with the level of care I received. A huge thank you to Dr. Bryant Tay for his exceptional service. He is incredibly skillful and patient, taking the time to explain the procedure and ensuring I was comfortable throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find a doctor who balances such high-level professionalism with a genuine, calming bedside manner. The visit was seamless, and the quality of care truly made it worth the services. I am very thankful for the positive experience and would highly recommend Dr. Tay to anyone looking for a reliable and meticulous dentist.

My visit to this polyclinic was for dental services. Booking the appointment took a few tries, but I finally secured a slot by logging into Health Buddy early at 7am. I was surprised that the clinic is huge, as the main entrance does not reflect its size. The entire level 2 was dedicated to dental services, and the waiting time was not too long. My dentist was a young man who explained each step he was taking, ensuring I understood what was happening. I am very pleased with this visit and have booked my next appointment. The cleaning service cost $74.20, which is much cheaper than going to a private clinic.

Pasir Ris Polyclinic Level 2 Entrance-go up Pasir Ris Interchange Exit 6 at the extreme end. Just opposite B9 berth. Take the escalator to level 2 and it's a little small passageway on your right before all shops or it's actually just next to the Mall Management Office. Going by appointment only pretty fast. 1st time there got lost. Hope this will helps.

Extremely long wait time. But overall quite good. The doctor was really nice and kind. Dr Jolene paid attention to my concerns and gave me the best advice she could. And even recommended many options for me. Pharmacist was nice too. 😊

I appreciate the public health system. However infrastructure without quality processes and people is as good as a white elephant in my perception. On 12 February 2026 Thursday morning, I visited for the dental and general medicine. I had not consumed any food or drink since the night before anticipating a blood test. When I arrived at the clinic, my registration was indicated as unsuccessful. I asked a staff what to do next and for directions and she just read what was in the slip. It was laughable as I figured out my way in the maze. Next I arrived at the dentist and unfortunately did not have my physical identity card. The staff although he attempted to conceal it well, was not happy about it. The dentist Dr Tricia was excellent. I have an issue with gag reflux and she handled it very patiently and sensitively. The dental assistant on the other hand was not as nice. Next general medicine - Dr Heng was detail oriented and asked me very politely about my health and wellness. She also gave me advice for short and long term care. Next at the blood test - this was also a very positive experience with the clinical care staff easing my anxiety with polite conversation. Lastly the pharmacy - please be aware that you need to scan the slip you receive after successfully registering to collect your medication. There is no clear notice saying that and you will only be informed if you ask. Waiting to collect medicine feel like eternity. Even when you are third in line. I would also like to understand why the payment systems do not allow billing to directly to corporate insurers like private GPs do.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris charge?

Subsidised consultation fees at SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris are typically S$10–30 for Singapore Citizens and S$25–50 for Permanent Residents, depending on the type of visit and the patient's eligibility tier — significantly below private GP rates of S$25–60. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, and X-rays are billed separately at subsidised rates. Chronic disease medications dispensed at the polyclinic pharmacy are also subsidised and can be paid using MediSave under the CDMP for listed conditions. For unsubsidised patients, including foreigners, fees are closer to private-clinic levels. A written financial estimate is not typically issued for standard polyclinic visits, but the clinic can advise on charges before investigations are ordered. GST applies on medical services. Is SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctors?

SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris operates as part of the SingHealth Polyclinics network, which is a public healthcare institution under the MOH Healthcare Services framework. The regulatory licences field in this listing is currently unpopulated, so users should verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence directly on the MOH licensee directory before their visit. All practising doctors at SingHealth Polyclinics are Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registered — you can search by name at smc.gov.sg to confirm registration status and any specialist accreditation. The clinic's Google rating of 2.9/5 across 226 reviews is a robust sample and warrants attention. Common themes in lower-rated polyclinic reviews typically involve waiting times and prescription disputes — reading recent reviews before your visit will help you set expectations. Verify the MOH clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at SingHealth Polyclinic Pasir Ris?

At a public polyclinic, MediSave can be used for outpatient visits under the MediSave 500/700 withdrawal limits — S$500 per year for general outpatient claims and S$700 per year under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Medications and certain investigations ordered during the same visit can be bundled into the MediSave claim. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) generally do not cover polyclinic outpatient visits, as these are designed primarily for inpatient and day-surgery claims. However, a polyclinic referral letter to a public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) is the standard gateway to subsidised specialist care, and subsequent inpatient stays arising from that referral pathway may then be claimable under your IP. Confirm your plan's referral and pre-authorisation requirements with your insurer before any planned specialist visit or procedure.
