Yesterday, I had the most pleasant experience at Tampines North Polyclinic. I went there for my mammogram because the machine at Bedok Polyclinic was down (it will be ready next year, I was told). I was hesitant to try a different place but I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. I was told to go straight to Level 2. The receptionist was very kind and kept telling me to take a seat as there were a few patients ahead of me. Not long after, I was called into the interview room and Ms Brenda was so personable and friendly. I told her my reservations about switching clinics but she kindly assured me that the breast nurse was a very kind lady. True enough, I was relieved when Ms Hafizah, the breast nurse/radiographer took over. Really, she was so kind and professional that I felt extremely at ease. Soon my session was over and I couldn’t have been happier because I was really dreading it in the beginning. Thank you to all the ladies who made my first mammo experience there a very pleasant one! God bless all of you!

Came in today (9 Dec 2025), together with my mother to take our flu vaccine. We both had 2 different time appointments in the same day and I asked at the registration counter if it was possible if we can take the jab together. I asked them twice and they said no. When it was finally my turn to take my jab, the doctors mentioned that I could have just taken it with my mum and they received no checks from the registration counter. I understand implemented procedures but I also would have appreciated if the staff could have check with their doctors first, instead of making assumptions on their own. It’s really frustrating to be told otherwise when I already have wasted 3 hours. A little compassion goes a long way.
