Singapore National Eye Centre
Homeowners contacting SNEC Retina Centre typically ask about Eye Care. The team positions itself as a working healthcare outfit rather than a generalist, so you can expect questions about scope, access, and timing before a quote is confirmed.
SNEC Retina Centre covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give SNEC Retina Centre an average of 2.7/5 across 11 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.
The practical way to decide on SNEC Retina Centre is to message them directly with a short job description, property type, and any relevant photos. Direct contact means no platform middleman and usually a faster response than form-based lead submissions.
I went there 1st POD. Registered at the kiosk . First step was to go for Evaluation area ( 241 ). Waiting outside the area. After a while an lndian staff from 241 approached me asking if l did my eye dressing. Mind you, my eye still has the gauze and shieId insitu. I told her l was not informed to do dressing before coming. At this stage we were talking outside the Evaluation area. Then she asked me to go room 214 . Went there, the room was occupied but a staff nurse used another room to show me how to clean the eye and also the use of the eye drops. She explained very cleary and she is very friendly. Think her name is Veronica. Then i was directed to room 239 to see the doctor. After the examination of the eye, was told I can go home and that l will receive an sms regarding the one week post op appoitment. The gist of this review is that l was never inside the Evaluation 241 area so no evaluation took place but l was billed for " Evaluation" Evaluate what???
Waited close to 2.5hrs to see doctor for less than 10mins.. Poor scheduling by the clinic. Nurses have bad attitude as well. Malay nurse got impatient with my mum during eye assessment and was rough while applying eyedrop. When we asked another nurse to check on our queue, nurse said okay but did not even bother coming back to update. Come if you want to waste your time and money. DO NOT recommend at all.
Worst hospital layout. After drop off you need to park at a car park that's about 15mins walk to car park. If it rains its even worst. Finding the pickup location also difficult and traffic issues. To many curvy route to go to the pick up location. Pick up area are small and short and easily jam up to the main road. Even taking grab also difficult to drop off.
Brought my mum eye consultation. Worst experience, just because we are subsidised by gov. We get subsidise service. Tell us to be patience. But when the team consultant came to talk to us, he was in a hurry. Even before we can confirm what lens to use, came another consultant also in a hurriedly manner. Only thing focus on telling us is, risk. 🤦♂️
Avoid coming to this carpark. You will not have a choice but to use the valet service. Even you park for 5 mins.
