About SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs)

Volunteers working to eliminate animal cruelty and abandonment, rescue and rehome strays, and educate the public.

The bulk of SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs)'s bookings cover Pet Training. Because this is a focused pet services operation, most jobs are scoped over WhatsApp first — photos of the issue, property type, and preferred slot — before a price is quoted.

SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. They're ACRA-registered under T12SS0058C and have been verified by KakiList, which adds a layer of accountability beyond anonymous review aggregators. Google reviewers currently give SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) a solid average of 4.4/5 across 120 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a pet services provider.

The practical way to decide on SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) is to message them directly with a short job description, property type, and any relevant photos. Direct contact means no platform middleman and usually a faster response than form-based lead submissions.

How much does SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) charge?

Typical pet training jobs in Singapore start from S$60/session. SOSD (Save Our Street Dogs) quotes on a job-by-job basis, so the final figure will depend on scope, property type, urgency, and whether materials are included.

Before booking, ask whether the quote includes: (1) materials and consumables, (2) transport and parking fees, (3) GST, and (4) any minimum call-out charge. We adopted our dog, Suki, from SOSD and she has brought endless joy and love to our family! Back when we were looking to adopt, we reached out to different shelters but SOSD was the one that was most responsive and we officially adopted Suki within about a month of kickstarting the process. Our rehomer volunteers, May and MG, were very responsive and quick to set up meetings for us with different dogs. They asked us about our lifestyle and preferences (level of activity, family configuration, time spent at home etc) so they could pair us with a dog that would blend well into our family. They poured so much into making sure we were ready for the realities and permanence of adopting and worked hard to find us the right match. When we first met Suki, she was living with a fosterer and was still very timid and fearful. After 1.5 years of living with us she has really opened her heart to us and shown us how she loves us so much in her own unique way. I would like to thank SOSD for the amazing, vital work they do in rescuing our Singapore Specials, giving them medical care and socialising them, and finally placing them in their forever homes. Also a huge shout out to fosterers who do the invaluable work of helping these scared dogs learn to trust humans and transition to domestic life! Please adopt, don’t shop. All dogs deserve a loving and safe home and there are so many just waiting to be loved. And please give older dogs a chance, they have so much love to give and are the perfect low-maintenance companions! Suki was 7 when we met her and her sweet, mellow personality made her the perfect match for us. She is our pride and joy. Can’t thank SOSD enough for bringing her into our lives!

Bad experience. Please speak to volunteers in the AWG world, and you will realise the truth about SOSD. Many other AWG worth helping and donating to, do your own in-depth research before committing any resources here

SOSD does amazing work and pay attention to the very detail when it comes to the dogs. When they say that all their donations goes to the dogs and priority is given to the dogs, they truly mean it. Volunteers are assessed strictly as well to minimise stress on the dogs. Truly home each and every one of these dogs can go to a good home.

The animal shelter at SOSD does an amazing job rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs. Let by volunteers, they have built an amazing facility and are really dedicated to the canines. We learned a lot from the shelter tour and discovered the magnitude of the stray dog problem on Singapore. Urge you to visit, volunteer and contribute to their efforts.

I had the privilege of listening to both Andreae and Chuen Ling from SOSD today. They took time in their day to speak with us and it was clear they came with a wealth of knowledge and experience to support and rehome dogs in Singapore. Thank you for educating our younger generation on this matter and for your care and kindness towards these precious animals ❤️
