Mr Tok is an incredible teacher and he has given me so much support and guidance for the past few years. I have improved tremendously from achieving A2 for Emath and B3 for A math in the O levels, and eventually achieving A for H2 math. I struggled with Math because I tend to forget the flow to continue to do the question and I always tend to make careless mistakes. Spring tuition provides maybe practices and practical methods and ways to let us remember how to have a more logical reasoning of the math questions. Mr Tok is a patient and inspiring teacher, and he always encourages us to strive for our best, also not only in mathematics. I remember approaching Mr Tok when I did really badly for my H2 math prelims, and he really encouraged me to never give up, and give me more confidence and hope that I can actually do well

I’ve joined Mr Tok again for JC math (was previously in his emath+amath class where I secured my double A1). In JC the curriculum is quite difficult and I rmb I got a U for my best subject math. Mr Tok tries to simplify concepts and makes u able to score for exams. His lessons are 2 way where u will have to answer his questions to check ur understanding apart from the practices u do. Personally I felt it was effective because I secured an A for Alevels.

Mr Tok is an incredible teacher that always encourages and motivates the class. He teaches concepts thoroughly and quickly, and through the time practices he gives us in class, we are not only able to grasp the topic well, but also be prepared to perform under exam conditions. Before joining, I was unable to understand amath concepts and could not identify question types. However, after joining, although most of my amath revision only came from my weekly classes at Mr Tok, my amath had jumped from an E8 in sec3 to a comfortable A1 in olvls, thus it is safe to say that Mr Tok’s maths tuition is very effective and i highly recommend his classes
