About Supermom

About Supermom

Supermom is a confinement food catering service operating islandwide from its Sin Ming Lane kitchen. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 4.5/5 rating across 120 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reasonable signal of consistent service quality. Pricing follows a package model, positioned in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore confinement food.

Mothers typically begin by enquiring about the 28-day standard package, though shorter 7-day or 14-day options are worth asking about if you want to trial the food before committing to a full month. Confirm how many trays are delivered each day — the norm is two (lunch and dinner) — and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are included in the package price or billed separately. Ask about the dietary tradition followed (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian), whether the menu rotates daily or repeats weekly, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free options. Delivery slots are typically twice daily, and meals should arrive hot within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window.

To get started, reach out to Supermom via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to request the current package menu, confirm delivery coverage for your address, and ask about trial meal availability before placing a deposit.

Supermom has been the most inhumane company that I have come across and they're just out there to get your data for their partners and insurance companies. I decided to sign up for one of their talks after receiving a promo code. However, during the checkout process, there was no option to enter the promo code. As a result the full amount was charged to my card despite the promotion. I followed the instructions provided and had a valid promo code, yet was unable to apply it, which reflects a problem with the checkout process rather than user error. I requested for a refund of the amount charged but look at the screenshot to see what their unsympathetic reply to me was. Why bother giving out promo codes when you have no intention to grant people the right to this entitlement?

I first signed up for the sg60 package but did not get a response. However, the team is quick to address this after I approached them via instagram message. The goodie bag contains many useful items for my baby and for postpartum :)

Signed up for their SG60 gift pack in mid April 2025 & finally received them in end Jul 2025! After registering & verifying, I missed to receive their email for collection. DM them in early Jul and they followed up on it. Collection was easy, just go to the Mothercare outlet to redeem as per the week I have chosen. Lots of goodies & vouchers in the bag, essential for my new born & can try a few brands too!

Latest update - Very reasonable response now from Supermom. Hope your process can improve regarding data privacy and ads --- Response to Supermom's comment: I did not sign up for their SG60 freebies, I PAID for one of their day course. Ended up PAYING to be HARASSED. I will be reporting this to the Personal Data Protection Commission. Prepare for trouble, Supermom --- They will sell your data to the legion of insurance peddlers. Prepare to be spammed to oblivion

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Supermom charge for a confinement food package?

Supermom prices its packages at the mid-range ($$) level. In the Singapore market, 28-day confinement food packages typically run between S$1,200 and S$2,800, depending on the number of trays per day and whether herbal soups and tonics are bundled in. Shorter 7-day or 14-day packages are sometimes available as a trial before committing to the full month. Confirm with Supermom exactly what is included — two daily trays (lunch and dinner) is the norm, with breakfast trays billed as an add-on at some caterers. Check whether red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement herbal soups are part of the package price or charged separately, and whether there is a delivery surcharge for landed properties or addresses outside the central corridor. What dietary tradition does Supermom follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food traditions divide broadly into Cantonese (the most common — warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian. Before booking, confirm which tradition Supermom's kitchen follows, whether the menu rotates day-to-day or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether dishes can be adjusted for mothers who are breastfeeding and prefer low-spice or rice-wine-free options. Most reputable confinement food caterers offer a single-day trial meal at roughly S$30–60. It is worth requesting one before paying any package deposit, because confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste matters considerably more than the menu descriptions suggest. Contact Supermom directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask whether a trial option is available.

Is Supermom licensed and how is food safety handled?

Licensed confinement food operations hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, and the premises are assigned a hygiene grade — A is the highest, followed by B, C, and D. Supermom's regulatory licences are not currently listed on this profile, so it is worth asking the team directly to confirm their SFA licence status and hygiene grade before paying a deposit. Halal-certified providers also hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging. Confinement meals are cooked on the day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers, typically within a four-hour cooked-to-delivery window. Confirm the two daily delivery time slots, the packaging type, and what the substitute or refund policy is in the event a delivery is missed or delayed.
