About The Bidadari Clinic

About The Bidadari Clinic

The Bidadari Clinic is a general practice (GP) clinic located at Alkaff LakeView in the Bidadari estate, serving patients across Singapore. It is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The clinic holds a 4.9/5 rating across 27 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that suggests consistent patient satisfaction, though prospective patients should treat this as directional. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this profile, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, so patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration before booking.

A typical visit to a GP clinic begins with a walk-in or appointment booking via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form. The doctor conducts a consultation covering your presenting complaint, relevant history, and any investigations needed — such as a blood panel, urine test, or rapid swab. Treatment may include a prescription dispensed on-site, a medical certificate where clinically appropriate, and referral to a specialist or polyclinic if further workup is required. For chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or high cholesterol, the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) allows MediSave withdrawals of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment at participating clinics — worth confirming directly with the clinic.

To book, contact The Bidadari Clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on this listing, and confirm appointment availability and consultation fees before your visit.

Imagine the shock I got from walking into one of those glossy clinic chains at Woodleigh mall and feeling like a number on the board, in fact, I literally was one, amongst the sea of sick waiting for their turn to see some random doctor-on-duty. Sure felt like an ER in a hospital... So it was that or something like this mom-and-pop outfit. Hey, no offence intended but it is or to put it nicely, a little charming hole in the wall independent clinic cos how on earth did they manage to squeeze into this small space is baffling... but kudos, it does the job. There's one doctor's office, a reception and a waiting room that can barely cater to the next two in line. At a recent one-off visit, the counter service was as polite as the doctor who attended to me. Check! Clinic premises was clean. Check! I haven't been told I've only got 6 months to live. Check! Bill wasn't astronomical. Check! I ain't no fan of docs of any kind in general so between a cold franchise clinic and a local neighbourhood clinic, this was certainly the lesser of two evils for me. Personally, I don't plan to see them again in the near future but if you're shopping around for one, this is a decent bet.

Thank you, Dr. Michelle Sim and Wenda, for your prompt response and care when my son needed immediate attention as we waited outside the clinic. We truly appreciate your patience, clear explanations, and the reassurance you provided during a moment when we felt helpless. You are always so gentle and kind with the children, and the little stickers you give never fail to brighten their day. We’re very grateful for your professionalism and warmth.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does The Bidadari Clinic charge?

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with follow-up consultations generally at the lower end of that range. Common add-ons billed on top of the consultation include investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$20–50, rapid swab S$15–40), prescriptions dispensed on-site, and any referral letters. GST applies to private medical services. Contact The Bidadari Clinic directly to confirm the current consultation fee and any CHAS or MediSave-claimable items before attending. For planned investigations, ask for an estimated total upfront. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is The Bidadari Clinic MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate GP clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg; search by the doctor's name to confirm active registration status and any disciplinary history. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile. Patients are strongly encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH licence and the named doctor's SMC registration before booking. Neither the clinic licence nor the SMC entry alone is sufficient — both should be confirmed. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at The Bidadari Clinic?

MediSave can be used at approved GP clinics for chronic disease management under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), covering conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, stroke, COPD, and selected mental health conditions — up to S$700 per year per patient. General outpatient MediSave withdrawals are capped at S$500 per year for non-CDMP visits at approved clinics. Confirm with the clinic whether it is a CDMP-approved participating provider before assuming MediSave is claimable. If you hold an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) layered on MediShield Life, most GP visits are covered under the outpatient rider component subject to your plan's deductible and co-insurance rules — check your insurer's schedule of benefits. CHAS cardholders (Blue, Orange, or Green) may also be entitled to subsidised consultation fees at participating CHAS GP clinics; confirm participation directly with The Bidadari Clinic. For any planned referral or procedure arising from a GP visit, request a written financial breakdown that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding.
