Parents and students enquiring about enrichment classes should begin by confirming whether the available levels and syllabuses match the child's current school curriculum — whether MOE primary or secondary, IB, or IGCSE. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. Many enrichment providers offer a trial class before requiring a term commitment, so ask about this option and use it to assess teaching style, class engagement, and whether the level pitched is appropriate. Do also confirm whether sessions are held in-person at the Collyer Quay location or available online, and what the term structure and cancellation policy look like.
To take the next step, contact The Eton House directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current subject offerings, available slots, and trial class arrangements before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at EtonHouse City Pre-School. From the very first day, we knew we had made the right choice for our daughter’s early education. The atmosphere at the school is incredibly welcoming. The entire staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel like part of a big family. It’s clear that everyone there truly cares about the well-being of the children. A special mention must go to the teachers. They are not only highly skilled educators but also warm and patient mentors. They managed to create an environment where our daughter felt safe, encouraged, and inspired to learn every single day. Our daughter loved her time here, both socially and academically. If you are looking for a nurturing, high-quality pre-school where your child will be genuinely happy, we cannot recommend EtonHouse City highly enough!
My two boys have been in EtonHouse since they were 18 months old. When EtonHouse Quayside closed, my kids continued at the new EtonHouse City campus. Even though this campus is further away from home, we decided to stay on because we love the kind and patient teachers, the stimulating and balanced curriculum and the warm school environment. The new City campus is especially nice - it’s spacious, clean and bright. We especially love the art atelier and the reading corner, and how activities are set up in the common spaces for the children to engage in. The outdoor playground on the balcony is also a huge bonus! One of our biggest draws to this school is its Mandarin Immersion programme, which has allowed my children to pick up Mandarin! My kids have been happy in this school, and the teachers are easy to approach and speak to at any time.
Our oldest son started at EtonHouse Quayside when he was 2.5yo and joined the Mandarin Immersion class without any previous exposure to the language. Everyone at the school is so caring and supportive and the curriculum is really engaging, my kid picked up Mandarin quickly and has always been excited to go to school. Despite since moving to a big international school, he still keeps in touch with his Laoshi and classmates and is always asking to visit the new City Campus. We have always been so happy with everything the school has to offer that we decided to send our second son there too despite the move to CBD. He started at 18 months and has showed so much progress in his Mandarin but also his development in general. Teachers and staff have been supportive of his independence and potty training journey as well as his social and emotional skills! What we love most about EtonHouse City is the family feel of the place - all staff from the principal to the kitchen ladies knows the children, their parents and siblings; it’s what makes the kids feel safe, loved and heard. The preschool has exceeded our expectations in every way but especially when it comes to their open communication and professionalism. We can’t wait for the opening of the Infant Care facilities for our new baby; it would be lovely for all of our kids to have began their educational journeys in such a special place. We’re so grateful to have found such a fantastic preschool and would recommend it without hesitation.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with this preschool. The teachers are caring and attentive. The environment is warm, clean and engaging. We’ve seen a change in our child since starting this preschool. It took him a little time to adapt, but with the patience and care of the teachers, he is now happy and excited to go to school. He has become more cheerful and confident, which means so much to us as parents. We truly appreciate the supportive and nurturing environment the preschool provides. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing place to learn and grow.
My daughter has been with EtonHouse since it was at Robertson Walk and has remained there as the school moved to the city campus. I'll be sending my son in March and both will be in the mandarin immersion programme. In my opinion this is an outstanding preschool offering for both English and mandarin speakers. The school is brand new and in immaculate condition. More importantly, the all the teachers, support staff and leadership group have filled the school with warmth and care for all the children. I continue to be amazed on a regular basis with the quality of offering and care given to the students and parents. My daughter at 3 and a half is as fluent in mandarin as she is English without a lick of mandarin spoken at home. EtonHouse City has set a very high bar for transitioning our children to elementary school!! Thank you

Specific per-session fees for The Eton House were not published at the time of this listing. In the Singapore enrichment market, group classes typically run between S$30 and S$80 per session, while one-to-one tuition ranges from S$60 to S$150 or more depending on subject and level. Many providers offer monthly packages or term-based fees that work out cheaper than paying per session. Ask about a trial class fee upfront, as some centres charge a reduced rate or waive the first session. Also confirm whether materials or workbooks are charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment centres in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee, sometimes at the standard session rate — before asking families to sign up for a full term. It is worth confirming whether The Eton House provides this option when you enquire. During a trial class, look at whether the child is engaged and appropriately challenged, whether the pace suits their current level, and whether the teaching style fits how they learn. A single session is usually enough to gauge fit. If a trial is not offered, ask to observe a live session instead before committing to any term payment.
Tutor credential details were not available in the listing data at the time of publication. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about the tutors' academic background, whether they have prior MOE or NIE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching the specific subject and level. For curriculum alignment, also confirm whether the classes track the current MOE syllabus, or whether they are geared towards IB, IGCSE, or AP frameworks. If credentials are not readily shared upfront, that is worth noting — established enrichment providers are generally willing to provide this information on request.
