When enquiring about The Great Room Singapore, confirm the capacity for your specific event format — standing cocktail layouts typically accommodate 1.5–2 times the banquet seated count, with theatre seating falling between the two. Ask about floor plan flexibility, in-house F&B versus external caterer policy (including any corkage or approved-caterer requirements), bar service and whether a Liquor Licence applies, and the A/V provision included in the package (PA system, projector, screen, microphones, and lighting). Clarify aircon hours, any noise curfew relevant to the Raffles Hotel Arcade setting, and whether setup and teardown access falls within or outside the rented window — this is often a source of scheduling friction. Confirm parking arrangements (nearby Raffles City and Suntec City carparks are accessible) and lift or ramp accessibility for guests with mobility needs. For wedding solemnisations, ask whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether a Justice of the Peace must be arranged separately.
To take the next step, contact The Great Room Singapore by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to confirm date availability, your event format and headcount, and the package inclusions. A site recce during business hours is strongly recommended before paying any deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
Had a great experience at this coworking space. The environment is clean, quiet, and comfortable, making it easy to focus and stay productive throughout the day. The internet is fast, the seating is comfortable, and the overall vibe is calm and professional. What really stood out was the service. Gen and Gilbert were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They were always ready to assist and made sure everyone felt welcome and well taken care of. Their positive attitude really added to the experience. I would definitely recommend this coworking space to anyone looking for a pleasant, stress-free place to work.
Exceptional coworking experience in an iconic location We’ve been members of The Great Room at Raffles Hotel for a year now, and it has exceeded every expectation. The location itself is absolutely stunning - working in such a beautiful and prestigious setting adds a special touch to every day. What truly sets this space apart is the concierge team. They are nothing short of fantastic - incredibly helpful, accommodating, and professional. Whether we’re greeting business guests or need assistance with daily operations, they handle everything with grace and efficiency. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating an outstanding experience for members. The combination of the elegant Raffles Hotel setting and the exceptional service makes this coworking space truly special. We couldn’t ask for more and feel so grateful to have found such a perfect workspace. Highly recommend to anyone looking for premium coworking in Singapore.
I’ve been using this co-working space for a while now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to work. The environment is clean, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of natural light and quiet areas to focus. The internet is fast and reliable, and there are multiple workspace options whether you need a private room, a meeting space, or an open desk. Both Genevive and Gilbert go above and beyond to make every visit smooth and enjoyable. They are both always warm and welcoming, and incredibly helpful with any questions or room bookings.
The Great Room at Raffles Arcade has an amazing vibe the moment you step in. The atmosphere is warm, classy, and perfect for getting into a productive headspace. What truly made my experience outstanding were the two staff members, Genevieve and Gilbert, who treated me exceptionally well. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care really stood out. The location is excellent, ideal for co-working, meetings, or hosting events. Out of all the co-working spaces I’ve been to so far, this is by far the best. Highly recommended!
Been a member at the TGR since mid-2022, I gotta say it spoils me and my expectations of what co-working spaces should be like. Eventhough this is not my home office, I find myself coming here many times given its excellent location, great amenities like food/coffee in the vicinity, and the inviting spaces it has for work and collaboration. As someone who loves to find quiet spots to hang out even on the weekends, I love coming by here to work and think. It’s accessible to members on the weekends with full air conditioning. Not to mention the hospitality of the people who work here! You can definitely tell that they love being here, and never fail to make you feel so welcomed. Last but not the least — Thirsty Thursdays! Great way to kick back and enjoy once in a while with your colleagues (if they’re your friends too lol) 🤣

The Great Room Singapore uses package-based pricing, which is typical for event venue rentals at a heritage location such as Raffles Hotel Arcade. Singapore market norms for mid-to-upper-range function spaces sit at S$1,500–8,000+ for a half-day and S$8,000–30,000+ for a full-day ballroom or premium space, though the exact figure depends on your event duration, format, and headcount. Itemise what is included before comparing quotes: aircon hours, basic A/V provision (PA, projector, screen), on-site staff, setup and teardown access, and cleaning. Ask separately about external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per pax), liquor corkage if you are bringing your own beverages, extended-hours surcharges, and any photography or videography permit requirements within the Raffles Hotel Arcade precinct. GST applies to venue hire. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →
Capacity varies significantly by layout — standing cocktail typically accommodates 1.5–2 times the banquet seated number, while theatre seating sits between the two. Contact The Great Room Singapore directly with your headcount and preferred layout to confirm whether the space fits your event. For F&B, confirm whether the venue operates in-house catering only, permits external caterers (with or without corkage and an approved-caterer list), or allows BYO with a bottle corkage charge. Heritage and hotel-affiliated venues sometimes have restrictions on external caterers or require food to be sourced from within the property. For liquor, ask whether a house bar is available or whether BYO applies, and confirm the relevant Liquor Licence arrangement. For wedding solemnisations, ask whether The Great Room Singapore is a registered ROM solemnisation venue, or whether you will need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.
A deposit of 30–50% on signing is standard practice for Singapore venue rentals and is used to secure your event date. The balance is typically due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings — particularly during the wedding season months of March, April, October, and November — book out six to twelve months in advance, so early enquiry is advisable. Confirm the noise curfew applicable within the Raffles Hotel Arcade precinct (typically 10–11pm for venues in hotel and heritage settings), parking options for guests, and accessibility provisions including lifts, ramps, and accessible toilets. Ask about setup and teardown access windows — these are often outside the rented period and need to be factored into your event run sheet. For postponements due to force majeure (weather, public-health restrictions), reputable venues typically allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce before paying the deposit is standard and strongly recommended. Contact The Great Room Singapore by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange a viewing.
