I brought my mother to The Hearing Specialist at Mount Alvernia several months ago, where she got her hearing tested comprehensively. The audiologist helped us to select an appropriate hearing aid for her, and we had a couple of follow-up sessions since then to ensure she was able to use the hearing aid properly and it was still working well. The audiologist, Mr. Soo, was very professional, detailed and clear in his explanations (in Mandarin) to my mother, and patient. He also paced the information across sessions (including how to use the cleaning kit, how to do hands-free answering of call etc.) so that my mother was not overwhelmed with having too much info in one go. We are 100% satisfied with the product and more importantly impeccable level of service (including after-sales service) received. Strongly recommended!

I brought my mum for her hearing test on 26 July 2025, and we met Terence, the senior audiologist. He was exceptionally kind, patient, and thorough throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain each step of the test clearly and reassured my mum, making her feel comfortable and well cared for. His proficiency in Mandarin was especially helpful, allowing him to communicate effectively and respectfully with her. After the test, Terence also took the initiative to briefly explain the results, while noting that our ENT doctor would provide a more detailed interpretation.
