About The Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is an education centre offering test preparation and admissions coaching, with a location at Seletar Mall in Sengkang. The centre is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.2/5 rating across 34 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that offers a reasonable indication of service quality.
Parents looking to enrol should begin by enquiring about the specific exam or admissions target their child is working towards — whether that is PSLE, DSA, secondary school entrance, or another pathway — to confirm the centre can address the relevant syllabus and level. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pacing and cost. Clarifying the term commitment upfront, including any minimum sign-up period or cancellation terms, helps avoid surprises. If the centre offers a trial class, this is the most practical way to assess whether the teaching approach and class pace are a good fit before committing to a full term.
To take the next step, contact The Learning Lab directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level and to arrange a trial class.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My boy has good math teacher ( Ms Soh) to guide him and ensure he can follow and catch up his math lesson.
We’ve had a fantastic experience with The Learning Lab in Seletar! From the moment we step in, Chloe, Afizah, and Jessica at the front desk always greet us with warm smiles and are incredibly welcoming. They’re so helpful and friendly, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable for both kids and parents. My child loves his science classes with Ms. Yu Wen, who has an amazing talent for making lessons engaging and exciting. She has a unique way of explaining concepts that captures his interest, and he always feels encouraged and happy to attend her classes. We’re so grateful for the positive impact The Learning Lab has had on our child’s education! Highly recommend this center to any parent looking for quality tuition with a caring touch.

My child has been with TLL for close to two years and he really enjoys the lesson at Seletar Mall brunch. Ms Edna's class is very interactive and i can see that she puts in a lot of effort to make each lesson more interesting. My child has built up a strong interest and foundation for English since K2.
My daughter is currently going for math classes, and she tells me that she loves her teacher. I’ve also noticed that her grades have been improving alot and I am so proud of her!

The Learning Lab displays its pricing at the '$$' tier, which typically indicates a mid-range fee structure for Singapore tuition and enrichment centres. Exact per-session rates are not publicly listed and will depend on the specific programme, level, and whether the format is group or one-to-one. Beyond the session fee, ask about materials or workbook charges, any registration or administrative fee at enrolment, and whether package pricing or sibling discounts apply. Confirm whether fees are billed per session, monthly, or per term, and clarify the refund or credit policy if a class is missed. See the full test prep and admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition and enrichment centres in Singapore offer a trial class — either complimentary or at a reduced fee — before parents commit to a full term. It is worth asking The Learning Lab directly whether a trial is available for the specific programme you are interested in, as trial policies can vary by course type. A trial class is the most reliable way to assess fit: observe whether the level of instruction matches your child's current ability, whether the teaching style holds your child's engagement, and how the tutor handles questions or gaps in understanding. Use the session to ask about class size, the syllabus covered across the term, and how progress is tracked and communicated to parents.
Specific tutor credentials for The Learning Lab are not publicly listed in the available information. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors have an NIE teaching qualification or prior MOE school experience, their degree background in the relevant subject, and how many years they have taught the particular exam or admissions track your child is preparing for. For test prep and admissions coaching, alignment with the specific syllabus — for example PSLE scoring bands, DSA talent area requirements, or secondary school selection criteria — matters as much as academic qualifications. Ask the centre directly for tutor profiles and, where possible, request to meet the tutor who will be taking your child's class before committing to a term.
