About The Local Farm

About The Local Farm

The Local Farm is an education provider offering holiday camps, based at 240 Neo Tiew Crescent, Singapore 718898, and serving families islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. With only 3 Google reviews at a rating of 4.3 out of 5, the sample is too small to draw firm conclusions about reputation, and parents should treat this signal as directional only.

Holiday camps at The Local Farm are likely farm-based or outdoor learning programmes, making them distinctive within Singapore's enrichment landscape. When enquiring, ask which age groups and school levels the camp is designed for, how the curriculum or activities are structured across the camp duration, and whether the programme runs on a per-day or per-week basis. Clarify whether equipment, materials, or protective clothing are provided, what the group size and facilitator-to-child ratio look like, and whether there is a waiting list for popular school holiday slots. Confirm the pickup and drop-off arrangements for a Neo Tiew Crescent location, which requires some planning for families travelling from central or eastern Singapore.

To take the next step, contact The Local Farm directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about upcoming holiday camp dates, available age groups, and session fees before the next school holiday period fills up.

Sale of various farm produce; from potted plants to plantable vegetables to ice-cream; foods ; skincare; essential oils. Bistro has a view with farm stay villas for a different getaway. Interesting venue for the non usual city lifestyle.

The Local Farm is easy to locate. Many cars parked outside. So you won’t miss it. The market itself is rather small. Not many choices. To our surprise, there isn’t one farmer selling vegetables. It was noisy, turning down the music could offer a more tranquil experience. If you are around Kranji, you can drop by to support local produce, but certainly doesn’t worth the effort to plan a trip there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does The Local Farm charge per session?

The Local Farm has not published a specific price for its holiday camps, so you will need to enquire directly for current fees. Holiday camp pricing in Singapore typically varies based on programme duration (half-day, full-day, or multi-day), age group, materials included, and group size. Some providers charge per day, others per camp block, with a separate materials or activity fee on top. Ask whether a sibling discount or early-bird rate applies, and confirm what is included in the headline price before committing. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Trial or taster session availability varies by provider — contact The Local Farm directly to ask whether a single-day or introductory session is offered before booking a full camp block. For outdoor or farm-based programmes, a taster visit can be particularly useful so your child can gauge comfort with the environment, the activities, and the group dynamic before a multi-day commitment. When assessing fit, consider whether the pace suits your child's temperament, whether facilitators engage confidently with different learning styles, and whether the level of physical activity matches your child's interests and abilities.

What are the facilitators' credentials at The Local Farm?

Credential details for The Local Farm's facilitators are not publicly listed at this time. When enquiring, ask about the background of the programme leads — relevant experience might include outdoor education, environmental science, early childhood development, or curriculum design. For farm-based programmes in Singapore, ask specifically about safety protocols, child supervision ratios, and any relevant certifications in first aid or outdoor facilitation. If this information is not readily available on the website or via the enquiry form, raise it directly by phone before booking. Knowing who is running the sessions helps you make a more informed decision for your child.
