The Math Lab is a private mathematics tutoring provider operating islandwide across Singapore, verified by KakiList. Families enquiring about tuition should start by confirming whether The Math Lab caters to their child's level and syllabus — whether that is primary school PSLE preparation, secondary O-Level or N-Level mathematics, or a junior college H1/H2 curriculum. It is worth clarifying upfront whether sessions are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, as this affects both pace and price, and whether lessons take place at the Queen's Road centre or online. Ask about term commitment expectations and whether a trial class is available before signing up for a full package.
To get started, reach out to The Math Lab via phone or the online enquiry form to confirm syllabus alignment, session format, and current availability for your child's level. Listing data is incomplete — contact "The Math Lab" directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Teacher Anson helped me understand Sec 1 topics easily and gave me a great headstart to the year. He's a really patient, positive and understanding teacher, and doesn't hesitate to repeat and go through the topics I don't understand as many times as possible. So I feel at ease to ask him questions with school work or anything about maths. He's really friendly as well and helped me feel welcome in the class setting. My results improved with his guidance too:))
I attended Mr Teo's class for 1 year. He is very engaging, enthusiastic and fun. He helped pinpoint my issues to help me improve every lesson. In the end, both my Math and A Math imrpoved by 4 grades, from C6 to A2 for o levels.
My son has been attending Mr Teo’s tuition for more than three years. He is attentive, engaging and also supportive. This helped my boy with his interest in Maths and results improved.
The Math Lab is a tuition centre that has been a crucial part of my Mathematics journey towards O-levels. Teacher Anson has been patient and swift in providing resources as well as answering the students' questions, and the resources given especially the school past year papers, have been very crucial in preparing me for my O-level exams. Results for O-levels: A1 for both A math and E math
Been with Mr Teo since I was sec 1 and he has helped me grasp my concepts better, while also being really patient and kind. Really grateful for his help and guidance throughout my 4 years in secondary school 🥹

The Math Lab is priced at the S$$ tier, but a specific per-session rate was not published at the time of listing. In practice, private mathematics tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$40–S$80 per session for group classes and S$80–S$180 or more for one-to-one sessions, depending on the tutor's experience and the student's level. When enquiring, ask whether fees are charged per session or bundled into a monthly or term package, whether there is a separate materials fee, and whether a trial class attracts a reduced or standard rate. Some providers also offer sibling discounts or loyalty pricing for multi-subject enrolment. Contact The Math Lab directly for its current fee schedule. Many tuition providers offer a trial class — either at a reduced fee or at the standard session rate — before parents commit to a term or monthly arrangement. A trial is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the pace and level are appropriate, and whether the tutor can engage your child effectively. During or after the trial, observe whether your child found the session accessible and stimulating, and whether the tutor could identify specific gaps in understanding. It is also worth asking how the tutor tracks progress and communicates with parents over time. Contact The Math Lab directly to confirm whether a trial class is available and what the arrangement entails.
Credential details for The Math Lab's tutors were not included in the listing at the time of publication. When evaluating a mathematics tutor, relevant qualifications to ask about include a degree in mathematics, education, or a related discipline, any NIE teacher training or prior MOE teaching experience, and familiarity with the specific syllabus your child is studying — whether MOE, IGCSE, IB, or another curriculum. Years of teaching experience and a track record with students at your child's level are also worth exploring. If the centre employs multiple tutors, ask which tutor would be assigned to your child and whether continuity is guaranteed across a term. Contact The Math Lab directly to ask about tutor qualifications before committing.
