About The Onlookers Singapore

About The Onlookers Singapore

The Onlookers Singapore is a wedding services provider operating islandwide from their studio at Henderson Road. They are verified by KakiList and carry a 4.9-star rating across 158 Google reviews, a robust sample that reflects consistent client satisfaction. Pricing is positioned at the mid-to-upper range, indicated by a two-dollar-sign band, with packages available rather than à la carte billing.

Couples typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check availability for their wedding date. From there, the usual journey involves a style and scope consultation to establish the brief — whether the focus is on ROM solemnisation, a banquet, a tea ceremony, or a combination — followed by a discussion of dialect-group customs if relevant (Hokkien gate-crash games, Cantonese tea-ceremony sequencing, and so on), as well as any Indian or Malay rite specifics. A deposit of typically 30–50% is paid on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Lead times for popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November can run six to twelve months, so early enquiry is advisable. Confirm the deliverables, coverage hours, balance schedule, and any travel surcharge for non-central venues in writing before signing.

To check date availability and receive a package quote, contact The Onlookers Singapore directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form on their listing.

Very glad to engage onlooker for our daughter 1st birthday photography. Nadia is our photographer, she is very patience and professional. She provides a lot of guidance for the postures and knows how to draw our daughter attention when taking photo which is really uneasy. Thanks to her, we can enjoyed the birthday celebration hassles free. We are very happy and satisfied with the final photos when receive. My family also loves the photos and compliment the photographer skill as she took a lot of nice shot, keep us a very sweet and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

We honestly can’t say enough good things about Dylan from The Onlookers. From the start, he just got us. The kind of edits we liked, the vibe we were going for, the angles we felt most comfortable in — he understood it all without us having to over-explain. That alone made us feel so reassured that we made the right choice choosing him. On the actual wedding day (which, let’s be real, can be quite stressful), Dylan was such a calming presence. He never made us feel awkward or overly posed. Instead, he made us feel relaxed and completely ourselves. Somehow, in the middle of all the chaos, he helped us stay in our element and actually enjoy the moment. What we loved most was how creative he is. He doesn’t just take standard shots — he experiments with shadows, angles, lighting, and composition in a way that feels artistic but still very natural. From group shots to solo portraits to our couple photos, everything felt thoughtfully captured. He was also super accommodating and remembered all the little requests we made. At the same time, he was open to trying new ideas and suggesting things we would never have thought of — and those turned out to be some of our favourite shots. We also have to mention Alex, who did our pre-wedding video shoot. That video means so much to us because it didn’t just look good — it told our story. He captured our journey while we were dating and the little moments that showed how we shared our love with one another. Alex made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and somehow managed to edit everything in a way that made us look both funnier and even more loving than we realised we were. Watching it back felt so personal and real. And beyond all that, both Dylan and Alex are just genuinely easy, warm people to work with. No ego, no pressure — just a team that clearly loves what they do. When we finally received the photos and video, we were honestly blown away. They felt like us — authentic, emotional, and beautifully put together. If you’re considering The Onlookers, just go for it. We’re so glad we did.

Alex is our photographer and we have no regrets in engaging The Onlookers on our wedding day! On the wedding day Alex truly made us felt like ourselves, we do not have to “act” / fake for candid shots. Alex gave us the guidance we needed for the shot and it helped us (2 introverts) felt very comfortable and memorable on our special day. The photos turned out really good and Alvin and I really love it so much! 🤍 Thank you again! It was really a great experience working with Alex!!

We had such a great time with The Onlookers (special shoutout to our photographer - Dylan)! 🤩 From the start, Dylan took the time to understand our inspired theme and truly incorporated it in the shoot - the photos turned out so beautifully 🥹 Throughout the process, Dylan was also super patient with our many questions, which helped put us at ease. As a couple who can be quite awkward in front of the camera, we truly appreciated how comfortable the shoot felt 🤪 Additionally, the photos were delivered promptly! Overall, we had a pleasant experience and we would highly recommend the team to couples considering a less conventional pre-wedding shoot!🌟📸

We had Dylan and Brad as our photographers for our wedding, and they are very good. We really loved the lighting, framing, and colouring of our AD photos. Everything looked natural yet beautifully captured. The moments felt authentic and not overly staged. Many of our friends also commented that some of the shots were very unique and creative, especially on the wedding day itself when things were very chaotic. Despite the fast pace and constant movement, Dylan and Brad managed to capture beautiful, meaningful moments. We are really happy with how the photos turned out and would definitely recommend Dylan and Brad to couples looking for good quality wedding photography.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does The Onlookers Singapore charge?

The Onlookers Singapore prices on a package basis, indicated by a mid-to-upper two-dollar-sign band. For context, Singapore wedding services packages vary considerably by scope: full-day wedding photography typically runs S$2,500–6,000+, full-day videography S$3,000–8,000+, and full event planning (excluding venue and F&B) S$5,000–25,000+. Floral and decor packages sit in a separate range. When requesting a quote, confirm what is included: hours of coverage or number of deliverables, deposit amount (typically 30–50% on signing), balance payment schedule, travel surcharge for non-central venues, and GST. Put the full package scope in writing before paying. See the full Wedding Services cost guide for Singapore →

How far ahead should I book The Onlookers Singapore?

For weddings, six to twelve months ahead is the standard lead time for in-demand vendors, and popular Saturdays in peak wedding months — March, April, October, and November — book out earliest. If your preferred date falls in these windows, enquire as early as feasible. Once you have confirmed availability, a signed contract and deposit are what formally hold the date. Confirm whether the deposit is transferable to a rescheduled date in the event of a force-majeure situation, and ask about the wet-weather or backup contingency if any portion of the event is outdoors.

What does the deposit cover and what is the cancellation policy at The Onlookers Singapore?

The Singapore industry standard for wedding vendors is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event. The deposit ordinarily covers the date hold and any pre-event consultation or planning hours. Deposits are typically non-refundable but may be transferable to a future date — confirm this in writing. Also ask about the rescheduling policy if circumstances such as a public-health restriction or family emergency require a date change, and whether public liability insurance is held, particularly for setups at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel venues that may require a certificate of coverage.
