We had a company team building event held at Potter’s Guilt. Non of us had pottery experience and we didn’t know what it was so fun! At first, personally I thought i only get 1 of the hand made pottery to be fired from the course. As the lesson progress, most of us decided to make and paid for extra pottery we made! I guess the satisfaction from making our own bowls or cups etc is very high. This session also helps our department to understand and see our colleagues in non work setting and realized some of us have great creative skills. The pottery studio is located at New Bahru is a great place to feel the positive vibes. The studio also have a store where they sell professionally made cups or pottery.
My partner and I attended a pottery class on Sunday morning. Our instructor is a young lady named Shen. She was clear with her instructions and had a good posture while doing the wheel throwing. We enjoyed the session. The place is air conditioned and well equipped. Do aim to get there early as this place is a little difficult to locate - there is no clear signage. Overall experience is good and the price is reasonable as compared to other pottery studios in Singapore. Be sure to give a 5 star if you enjoy your experience as well. Thank you and appreciate the feedback.
We were looking for a new experience and tried out the “Potter Do-It-All” workshop. The place was nice and comfortable and we were greeted by Mabel and Nick. They were friendly and a great help throughout the whole session and since it was a small group of us, all of us got a personal touch and guidance from them. Mabel and Nick gave lots of ideas and how to use the tools when we need more help. All in all, it turned out to be a great experience and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new. Definitely looking at coming back with more family and friends for bonding and activity time.
Fun weekend morning trying out the pottery-on-the-wheel session! The studio’s situated in a nice, serene and unique location that’s away from the buzz of the city. Teachers were patient and helpful :) Excited to see the pieces after they are glazed!
Been going to TPG for the past few years for wheel throwing lessons and open studio. Everyone here, including fellow hobbyist, are very talented, supportive, and encouraging. Great environment to learn and grow, and I always look forward to my time there. Recently attended a mold making class; it was a totally new experience from wheel throwing. You’ll get to design your own prototype and learn how to make a reusable mold for slip casting, but beware there’s math involved (oh noes!😂) Overall experience at TPG is 11/10. I love this place. You’ll love this place too.

The Potters' Guild is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), but specific per-session and per-camp fees are not published on this listing. Holiday camp fees in Singapore typically vary based on the number of days, materials included, and group size — shorter drop-in sessions may be priced differently from multi-day programmes. When enquiring, ask for a full breakdown covering the camp fee, whether materials such as clay, glazing, and kiln firing are included or charged separately, any registration deposit, and the cancellation or refund policy. Sibling discounts or early-bird rates are common in the holiday camp market and worth raising. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →
Whether The Potters' Guild offers a standalone trial session before a full camp booking is not confirmed on this listing. Some pottery studios offer one-off introductory sessions that allow a child to experience wheel-throwing or hand-building before committing to a multi-day programme — it is worth asking directly when you submit your enquiry. When assessing fit, look for whether the session pace suits your child's age and attention span, whether the instructor ratio allows for individual guidance, and whether the projects are structured enough to give a sense of accomplishment within a single sitting. A 4.9/5 rating across 92 reviews suggests participants have generally found the experience well-matched to expectations.
Instructor qualifications are not listed in the provider data for The Potters' Guild. For holiday camp and enrichment contexts, relevant backgrounds include formal ceramics or fine arts training, experience teaching children across different age groups, and familiarity with age-appropriate safety practices around clay, kilns, and studio equipment. We recommend asking directly about the lead instructor's background, the student-to-instructor ratio per camp session, and how the studio manages different skill levels within the same group. The 4.9/5 rating across 92 Google reviews may reflect instructor quality, but confirming credentials before booking a full camp is advisable.
