Families typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the student is following the MOE national curriculum, IGCSE, or another framework — before signing up for a trial class to assess teaching style and whether the pace suits the child. It is worth clarifying upfront whether sessions are conducted in groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both the fee structure and the learning dynamic. Most tuition centres operate on a monthly or termly commitment, so confirming the cancellation and make-up class policy before enrolment is advisable. For families outside the immediate Queens Road area, ask whether any online or satellite options are available given the islandwide coverage noted on the listing.
To get started, contact The Science Hub directly via phone or the enquiry form to confirm current subject offerings, available time slots, and trial class arrangements before making a term commitment.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Came for the Dinosaur Exhibit but were slightly underwhelmed by the number of fossil exhibits. We expected a somewhat more memorable experience for the ticket price but the number of displays were limited. We went on a weekend afternoon and the exhibit was quiet, allowing you to take your own time to enjoy yourself.
My visit to Science Centre Singapore was truly engaging and enjoyable. The interactive, hands-on exhibits helped me understand scientific concepts in a practical way. Watching live demonstrations and trying experiments made learning exciting and meaningful. It is definitely worth spending time here to experience science beyond textbooks and theory.
This place, so loved by children as young as kindergarten ages, curious exploring teens to silver hair seniors, never cease their thrill in discovery this Science and Technology fun learning place, the Science Center. Climate change that leads to the increasing need for renewable energy demands; sensory senses of sight, fun activities from toilets to children's playground including the diversity of ageing, all so fun, so interesting to discover. Indeed a great learning place to come.
Very interactive exhibits, really cool fossil and because I got the early bird tickets I had my plushie as well. I signed up fof the digging activity as well for the funzies and got a gachapon. 10/10 experience even if you have no kids along (I am the kid xD)!
Seeing the dinosaurs in real life was amazing for kids. The life-size models made a big impact. So different from watching a documentary on screen. Learning how the documentary was made added meaning and helped kids appreciate the science and effort behind it. A fun and memorable learning experience.

Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee, sometimes at the standard session rate — so that students and parents can assess whether the teaching approach and class level are a good fit before signing up for a full term or monthly package. During a trial, pay attention to whether the pace matches your child's current level, how the tutor engages with students, and whether the class size allows for adequate individual attention. Ask whether the trial class counts towards a package if you decide to enrol. Contact The Science Hub directly to confirm their trial class policy and availability.
Tutor credentials are not listed in the available provider data for The Science Hub.
