About "The Sequoia Vision"
The Sequoia Vision is a tuition centre serving families across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified provider and registered with ACRA. It is based at 6A Cheong Chin Nam Road and holds a 5-out-of-5 rating across 154 Google reviews — a robust sample that lends meaningful weight to its strong standing. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or monthly fees are not publicly disclosed and should be confirmed directly with the centre.
Families typically begin by enquiring about the relevant level and syllabus alignment — whether the student is following the MOE national curriculum, IGCSE, IB, or another framework. From there, it is worth asking whether the centre offers group classes or one-to-one sessions, whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and whether lessons are conducted in-person at Cheong Chin Nam Road or online. Clarifying term commitment expectations and what materials or workbooks are included in the fee will help avoid unexpected costs later.
To take the next step, reach out to The Sequoia Vision via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to ask about available slots for your child's level, confirm the class format, and arrange a trial class before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I joined TSV for A-Math and E-Math for 1.5 years. The teachers there are extremely helpful and kind, and could answer any questions I was unsure of. The classes are interactive and clear to understand, making my experience both fun and productive. Helpful revision notes and practice papers are also provided. My A-Math grade improved from an F9 to a B4, while my E-Math grade improved from an E8 to a B3. Overall, with the help from the teachers at TSV, I was able to regain my confidence in mathematics and significantly improve my grade! I would highly recommend TSV to anyone struggling or looking to improve their mathematics.
I am truly grateful for my math tuition at TSV. Before joining, I struggled with Amath due to a lack of resources in school and a weak understanding of key concepts. After joining TSV, I learned how to take effective notes and practised much more consistently, with teachers emphasising important concepts to ensure a strong foundation. Regular tests allowed the teacher to follow up closely on our progress and identify our weaknesses, and we could easily arrange consultations with them either physically or online. Ms Sonia always answered my enquiries patiently and thoroughly. With her guidance and support, I am proud to have improved from a C6 in my WA1 in sec3 to achieving an A1 for my O-Level Amath result. Therefore, join TSV if you are looking for amath tuition 👍
Ms Sonia is a very patient and kind Maths teacher who genuinely cares about both the academic progress and overall wellbeing of her students. She takes the time to explain concepts clearly, ensures that students understand their work, and provides consistent support to help them improve. Ms Sonia is always willing to go the extra mile to assist her students and motivate them to reach their Maths goals. We have seen positive progress and greater confidence as a result of her teaching. We strongly recommend Ms Sonia, as well as the other dedicated and fantastic tutors at TSV.
TSV has genuinely SAVED both my maths, the teachers are all very friendly, patient and helpful, always making sure we understand and master the content. I went from C6 during WA2 to A1 in O levels in both emath and amath, just in 3 months, even tho the 2025 paper was especially challenging. The free consults, practice exam papers and topical worksheets as well as step by step explanations and tricks from the teachers has really helped challenged me and improved my math tremendously.
The Sequoia Vision was extremely helpful for me. They pushed my F9 to A1 in 4 months. The tutors here are the most caring and dedicated that I have ever seen. Ms Sonia's clear explanations, well-planned classes that cater to the pace of every student, and her willingness to stay back with me even after class hours to give me extra help, allowed me to get A1 for both my Amath and Emath for O-levels. Definitely would recommend.

The Sequoia Vision has not publicly listed a specific per-session rate, so you will need to enquire directly for a quote. As a general guide, tuition centres in Singapore typically charge between S$30 and S$80 per session for group classes, and S$60 to S$120 or more per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the subject, level, and tutor's experience. Ask whether fees are structured per session, as a monthly package, or by term. Clarify what is included — some centres charge separately for printed materials or assessment papers. Sibling discounts and early-term registration discounts are sometimes available, so it is worth asking. A trial class may carry a nominal fee or be included as part of enrolment. Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class before you commit to a full term or monthly package, and it is reasonable to ask The Sequoia Vision whether this is available and whether it carries a fee. A trial class gives you a chance to observe whether the pace and teaching style suit your child, whether the level is appropriately pitched — neither too easy nor overwhelming — and whether your child feels at ease in the environment. Pay attention to how the tutor explains concepts and handles questions, as this often reveals more than the centre's curriculum materials alone. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether your child can sit in on a session before signing up. Contact The Sequoia Vision via WhatsApp or phone to find out their current trial class policy.
Specific tutor credentials for The Sequoia Vision are not publicly listed, so it is advisable to ask directly about their educational background, teaching experience, and familiarity with the relevant syllabus before committing. Key questions to raise include whether tutors hold a degree in the subject they teach, whether any have NIE training or prior MOE classroom experience, and how long they have been teaching at the centre. For students on specialised tracks such as IGCSE, IB, or AP, confirm that the tutor has direct experience with that particular curriculum and its assessment format. Asking to speak briefly with the assigned tutor before the first session is a reasonable request and will help you gauge whether they are a good fit for your child's learning style and goals.
