It holds a 4.1 out of 5 rating across 216 Google reviews, a robust sample that provides a reasonable indication of patient experience. As a 24-hour GP clinic, Thomson 24-Hour Family Clinic accommodates walk-in consultations at any hour, which is particularly useful for acute presentations outside standard practice hours. Patients attending for the first time should expect a clinical consultation covering the presenting complaint, medical history, and any relevant examinations. Common next steps include in-house or referred investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, or X-rays, followed by a treatment plan and prescription where appropriate. For chronic disease management, the clinic may register eligible conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which allows MediSave withdrawal of up to S$700 per year for outpatient treatment of listed conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, and asthma. Patients holding Integrated Shield Plans should confirm whether consultation fees and any planned investigations are claimable under their policy terms.
To arrange a consultation, patients may contact Thomson 24-Hour Family Clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form — or walk in directly at any time given the round-the-clock operating model.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
I had a toe injury that required stitches, and I’d like to express my appreciation to Dr. Leow (Mrs Chua) and Senior Nurse Miss Susan Chang for their tremendous patience and gentle care throughout the treatment, especially with a "whiny baby" like me! There was a suspected fracture, and I requested to be treated by a specialist from my insurance panel. I'm grateful that Dr. Leow responded promptly and efficiently, arranging an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon much sooner than I could have on my own, had I booked it myself, the earliest available slot would have been three days later. Extremely grateful. Thank you both for your professionalism and compassionate ❤️
I noticed that the administrative counter workflow was quite disorganized. The staff attended to multiple patients at the same time but did not complete each case before moving on to the next. Each time a new patient approached, attention shifted away from the previous patient, resulting in several incomplete transactions. I understand clinics can be busy, but a more structured queue and task-completion process would greatly improve patient experience and reduce confusion and waiting time. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving the administrative workflow.
Came here to see the doctor since it was a Saturday my the usual GP I go to is already close. Expected a higher cost, but the amount is really ridiculous. Had a persistent fever and was told to do a test kit. But they failed to notify me of the price until after the tear the kit open and just went oh btw its 90$ for the kit. Said I cant refuse the kit. Did not give me any warning and just administered the kit even though i was in distress and said it hurts until i was in tears and shielding my face while the nurse just continue to come closer and i was leaning away from the chair. Hope they can be more transparent about cost and patient comfort when administering test. It was really an unpleasant experience there. Total bill also amounted to over 400$. Absolutely ridiculous.
I accompanied my daughter twice there for her injury on the ankle, without speaking the waiting time, the altitude of 1st floor front-desk staff was inacceptable and not professional. there was a mis-link / mis communication with the front-desk staff of 1str floor and the staff at 5th floor for x-ray. to give more details, when I asked how long we supposed to wait not for pushing but to see if we would have time in between for lunch, she told me you sat there like an order. we are disappointed and not considering to come back.
Went to Thomson Medical 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre to get myself a vaccination for influenza, came in at 8:30am was greeted immediately and registered. Received the flu shot from Nurse Manager Alice, she was gentle and kind, making the entire process a breeze. Left the UCC in 15 minutes.

GP consultation fees at private 24-hour clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 during standard hours, with after-hours, weekend, and public holiday surcharges of S$10–30 on top. Thomson 24-Hour Family Clinic uses a per-visit pricing model, though the specific fee is not published — confirm directly before or at registration. Investigations billed on top of the consultation commonly include blood panels (S$60–200), urine dipstick or culture tests, and rapid diagnostic tests (S$15–40 each). Prescriptions are charged separately. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned procedure, request a written breakdown that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. See the full GP and 24-Hour Clinic cost guide for Singapore →
No regulatory licences are listed in the current data for Thomson 24-Hour Family Clinic. Every legitimate clinic premises should hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory online. Every practising doctor should also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. Patients are strongly advised to check both the clinic licence and the consulting doctor's SMC entry before booking — neither alone is sufficient. Given the absence of listed licences in the available data, verifying these directly with the clinic before your visit is particularly important. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
For outpatient GP visits, MediSave can be used under the S$500 per year general outpatient withdrawal limit, or up to S$700 per year if the consultation is for a condition listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — covering hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, among others. Confirm at registration whether the clinic is an approved CDMP provider and whether your condition is on the list. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally cover inpatient stays and day surgery rather than routine GP visits, though some plans include outpatient or specialist rider benefits — check your policy terms with your insurer before assuming coverage. For any investigation or procedure costing more than a routine consultation, ask for an itemised estimate in advance that separates insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and cash out-of-pocket portions. Skipping this step is the most common reason patients are surprised by their final bill.
