About Tian Wei Signature

About Tian Wei Signature

Tian Wei Signature is a confinement food catering service operating islandwide from its kitchen at 81 Tagore Lane, Singapore 787502. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.7/5 rating across 1,626 Google reviews, a robust sample that carries meaningful weight. Pricing is positioned in the mid-to-upper range (indicated as $$), with packages structured around the standard 28-day confinement period.

Most families approach Tian Wei Signature by enquiring about 28-day packages, though shorter 7-day or 14-day options may be available for those wanting a trial before committing to the full programme. Packages are typically structured around two daily deliveries — lunch and dinner — with breakfast trays as an optional add-on. It is worth confirming directly whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package price or billed separately, as this varies by provider and affects the true cost. Deliveries are made hot within a roughly four-hour cooked-to-delivery window; confirm the exact delivery time slots and whether landed or non-central addresses attract a surcharge. Before paying any deposit, check whether a trial meal is available — confinement appetite is personal, and tasting the food first is the most reliable way to assess fit.

To get started, reach out to Tian Wei Signature via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm your due date, preferred dietary tradition, delivery address, and whether a trial meal can be arranged before you commit to a package.

The meals are thoughtfully prepared for postpartum recovery, and I appreciate that they’re breastfeeding-friendly without feeling overly “medicinal”. What I enjoyed most is the balance between traditional confinement dishes and fusion meals, which keeps things interesting even when eating confinement food daily. The herbal soups are reviewed by Ma Kuang TCM, so it gives extra peace of mind. The meals are also customisable based on individual needs, and the flexibility to skip meals when necessary makes it super convenient. During this festive season, there're some makan sessions so I opted to skip some day's deliveries and they will just continue with the next day's menu. It can be easily done via WhatsApp before 3pm the day before. Super convenient to arrange with them. The food generally taste good, I will order from them again next time

2nd week onwards The veg i receive is always cooked the same way but just with different type of veg. The meats most of the time have the chicken/pork/fish smell almost everyday taste the same my wife don't have appetite to eat for most meals. When feedback to them on whatsapp " understand your feedback" "will feed back to our kitchen on this" and ask if we want to remove this food for future meals. When we receive the food the taste is like different from the baby fair and photo look different from the reviews i see. The soup also taste the same everyday not much different.

Variety is great! The soup and red date tea comes warm and tasty so it really feels good drinking them. I like how timely their delivery is and also how friendly the delivery people are too. I only ordered for 7days so I’m not sure of the whole quality for 28days but I do think it’s quite worth the money. Saves time and hassle of cooking and still well fed!

Few years back the food was awesome so i reordered this time round but was a disappointment. Food taste was bad. Soup taste is worse. Does not have rich taste and using more salt to make it taste good but all the taste is just bland water with salt. Confinement food should be healthy but good serve all look like economic rice. Red date water is bland. Protein wise was worse, i am served with chicken bone and not much meat. Attached photo is the worse , uncooked chicken meat and CS check with kitchen they still can say is frozen meat that is oxide that is why the meat is red. Pls look carefully is uncooked or oxide. It feels so raw and the meat serve is all bones.

Overall good order. Reco. Time saver. Energy saver. Good customer service. Ordered 28days of Tian Wei with other service package in Mummy’s Market on Jan 16, started on Jan 24, now ending in 3 days. Save time and energy to think/order/cook nutritious food during confinement period. Good portion of protein and veg. A bit too much of carbs for me. A bit sian to eat 2 meals everyday after 10 days as my family is also cooking… Later I asked 8 days with only Lunch. Ordered a trial in Dec, and it was very salty for every dish. I was shocked that such salty food is for confinement mums… Requested LESS SALT & LESS OIL. The salesperson called the company for me to confirm if my request can be made — Less salt can; less oil some can some cannot. Indeed ~95% of the food was not salty or oily and Soup generally not oily. Not sure what’s the food would be like if no special request. But I’m satisfied with the service on that aspect. WhatsApp customer service has been replying timely, even online during Public Holidays, not mentioning weekends. Always reply timely. Always very flexible with the delivery change as long as one day before 3pm. Appreciate such service for moms as things may happen anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tian Wei Signature charge for a confinement food package?

Tian Wei Signature uses a package-based pricing model, positioned at the mid-to-upper range ($$) of the Singapore market. Standard 28-day confinement food packages across the industry typically run S$1,200–2,800, depending on the number of daily trays, the dietary tradition, and whether herbal soups and tonics are included or billed as add-ons. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options are worth asking about if you want to trial the food before committing to the full programme. Confirm the full breakdown directly with Tian Wei Signature: price per day or per package, number of trays included, herbal soup and tonic inclusions, and any delivery surcharge for your address. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does Tian Wei Signature follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food traditions include Cantonese (the most common — warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, and vegetarian. Contact Tian Wei Signature directly to confirm which tradition or traditions their menu follows, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats weekly, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free options. Most reputable confinement caterers offer a single-day or trial meal — typically priced at S$30–60 — before you pay the full package deposit. Given that confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste matters considerably, taking up a trial meal before committing is strongly advisable.

Is Tian Wei Signature licensed and how is food safety handled?

Tian Wei Signature is ACRA-registered, confirming it operates as a legitimate business entity in Singapore. However, no SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence is currently listed on this profile. A licensed confinement food caterer should hold one of these SFA licences, which carries a hygiene grade (A being the highest). Confirm the licence and current hygiene grade directly with Tian Wei Signature before paying any deposit. Confinement meals should be cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, the packaging type, and the substitute or refund policy in the event of a missed delivery. If you require halal-certified meals, ask for the MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging.
