About Tots-Porter

About Tots-Porter

Tots-Porter is a confinement food caterer serving mothers islandwide from its base at Orchard Road. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the provider holds a 3.9/5 rating across 37 Google reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal, though prospective customers should read individual reviews carefully before booking. Pricing is displayed at the mid-range tier; specific package costs should be confirmed directly with the provider.

When enquiring, ask about the full package structure: whether the standard 28-day plan is available alongside shorter 7-day or 14-day trial options, how many trays are delivered per day (typically lunch and dinner, with or without breakfast), and whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled in or billed separately. Confirm the dietary tradition — Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian — and whether the menu rotates daily. It is worth asking whether a trial meal can be ordered before committing to a full package deposit, as personal taste and post-partum appetite vary considerably. Check the delivery schedule (typically two hot deliveries per day, in the late-morning and late-afternoon windows), the packaging type, and the policy if a delivery is missed or a substitution is needed.

To take the next step, reach out to Tots-Porter via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to request the current menu, package pricing, and trial meal availability before paying any deposit.

I visited Porter International at Wisma Atria today regarding a wallet I purchased two weeks ago. The male sales assistant who assisted me during my purchase was polite and pleasant, and I was happy with the buying experience. However, when I returned to check on a small white stain I noticed on the wallet, the experience was completely different. The female staff attending to me seemed visibly annoyed from the start and repeatedly questioned whether I had checked the wallet before purchasing it. While I understand the importance of checking items before payment, I was simply asking if the stain was normal and whether something could be done about it. Her tone came across as aggressive and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I asked if she could help wipe the area with a damp cloth to see if it could be removed. She appeared reluctant and again emphasized that I had already accepted the product two weeks ago. Eventually, I asked whether polishing might help. She reluctantly brought out the polish kit and remarked that it might not remove the stain. Well, the stain was completely removed after polishing. The product itself deserves 5 stars (I genuinely like the wallet.) Unfortunately, the service I received today from the female staff deserves 0 stars. Customer service should focus on assisting and reassuring customers, not making them feel defensive for asking a simple question. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures a more welcoming and professional service experience in the future.

Today is chinese new year day mood. i didnt want to say any bad things to anyone. But the saleslady at wisma atria, face black like charcoal and when asked about the price of the items, she took deep sighs and so unwilling to answer more questions. She thinks everyone just asking but dont buy is it? I wanted to buy but i see her face so unhappy so i think just let her sit down and rest better. And so unwelcoming and rude.Your company should do something about this immediately. But it seems like nothing has been done as i have seen so many bad reviews from years ago about this lady.

The salesperson (lady) is very unfriendly and unwelcoming towards us and she doesn’t smile at all. Give us a attitude face like we couldn’t afford to buy anything from the shop. Asked her questions and she relunctantly replied and took back the bag from me to put back to the shelf thinking I’m just messing up the shelves. She was happily serving a couple who carried a LV bag. Pls don’t look down on people who don’t carry branded bags when they go shopping. I have several LV bags at home too but I don’t have to show them off all the time. After we left she was still staring at us from inside of the shop through the glass windows. Date and time of visit : 20/7/2024 3.50pm.

Service was lackluster and staff seemed disinterested to sell their products. Decided not to buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tots-Porter charge for a confinement food package?

Tots-Porter displays mid-range pricing, but specific package costs should be confirmed directly. In the Singapore market, a standard 28-day confinement food package typically runs S$1,200–2,800 depending on the number of trays per day, the dietary tradition, and whether herbal soups and tonics are included. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options are offered by many caterers as a trial or partial coverage arrangement and generally cost proportionally less. When comparing quotes, confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, and longan tea are bundled in or billed as add-ons, and whether there is a delivery surcharge for addresses in outlying areas. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does Tots-Porter follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food traditions vary — the most common is Cantonese (warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, rice wine), with Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, and vegetarian options offered by some caterers. Ask Tots-Porter directly which tradition their kitchen follows, whether the menu rotates day-to-day or repeats on a weekly cycle, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day trial meal at around S$30–60. It is strongly advisable to try a meal before paying the package deposit — confinement appetite shifts daily and personal taste matters more than menu descriptions alone. Contact Tots-Porter to check current trial meal availability.

Is Tots-Porter licensed and how is food safety handled?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Tots-Porter on KakiList. Legitimate confinement food caterers operating in Singapore should hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, with a hygiene grade of A, B, C, or D displayed — A is the highest. Providers offering halal-certified meals should also hold a MUIS certificate, which ought to appear on packaging. Ask Tots-Porter directly to confirm their SFA licence number and current hygiene grade before booking. Confinement meals should be cooked on the day of delivery and dispatched hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery time slots, the packaging format, and what happens — whether a substitute meal or refund is provided — if a delivery is missed.
