About TOUCH Home Care MET
TOUCH Home Care MET provides senior transport services across Singapore, operating from its Bukit Merah Central office. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Google reviews number only six at a rating of 3/5, which is too small a sample to draw meaningful conclusions — families should weigh this alongside other due diligence. No regulatory licences are currently recorded for this provider, which is worth clarifying directly given that transport services for seniors may involve clinical or AIC-registered care contexts.
When engaging TOUCH Home Care MET, begin by describing the senior's mobility level, any wheelchair or ambulatory aid requirements, and the frequency of trips needed — whether for medical appointments, day-care attendance, or general outings. Confirm whether drivers are trained in passenger-assist techniques and whether the vehicles are wheelchair-accessible. Discuss the care recipient's medical considerations and any escort requirements, and establish whether bookings are ad hoc or on a recurring schedule. Clarify cancellation terms, public holiday surcharges, and what happens if a booking cannot be fulfilled at short notice.
To explore availability and rates, contact TOUCH Home Care MET directly by phone or through the enquiry form listed on their profile.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
Sent the registration form in for Meals on Wheels in may. As of mid oct, ive not received a reply. Called 4 times to different hotlines, each hotline directing me to a different hotline. From the prev conversation, ive understood that they would chase the admin to rectify from their side. Guess what? Nothing has been done. Has the admin been on a month holiday or what? Always lack of volunteers but no action to recruit people who actually interested to volunteer If volunteering recruit is so hard i think my mission to conquer the Great Wall of China would have been a breeze for me. Then, back to waiting for their reply. Try other intiatives instead, hopefully their admins are actually doing their work!
Please keep the feedback going ! Thanks a lot

TOUCH Home Care MET does not publish a specific rate on their listing. Senior transport services in Singapore are typically priced per trip or by monthly package, and costs vary based on vehicle type (standard, wheelchair-accessible), distance, frequency, and whether an escort is included. Confirm the following in writing before committing: the per-trip or package rate, whether public holiday or peak-hour surcharges apply, any deposit requirement, and the cancellation or no-show policy. TOUCH Home Care MET's listed subcategory is senior transport, which is an episodic, visit-based service rather than a live-in or ongoing home-care arrangement. Each booking typically covers a single trip or a scheduled series of trips for medical appointments, therapy sessions, or day-care attendance. If broader home-care support — such as personal care, nursing visits, or companionship — is also needed, TOUCH Home Care MET may offer additional services under their wider TOUCH Community Services network. Confirm directly what scope of support is available alongside transport, and whether care coordination across services is provided.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for TOUCH Home Care MET on KakiList. For senior transport, relevant considerations include whether drivers hold passenger-service vehicle authorisation, whether staff are trained in passenger-assist or disability-awareness protocols, and whether the provider carries public liability and passenger injury insurance. TOUCH Home Care MET is part of the wider TOUCH Community Services group, which operates across multiple social service domains. Nonetheless, prospective clients should ask directly about driver training credentials, insurance coverage, and vehicle accessibility specifications — and request documentary evidence — before confirming bookings for a vulnerable senior.
If TOUCH Home Care MET isn't the right fit, these are other senior transport providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
