Had diarrhoea and called the number at 8plus to register before heading down. Couldn't get a response and my hubby sent me to the clinic. Registered at the clinic and got a queue number. Was told waiting time would be around 40-45min. Stepped away to use the bathroom and returned ro check in with the receptionist. Was told that there were only 2-3 patients before me. Was kept waiting and I was shocked when my number was skipped a few times. Checked in with the receptionist and learnt they had not added my number to the queue. Queue system was a flop and I ended up waiting for more than an hour.

The Que system has really failed big time. Why assign a q number if you don’t follow it. We are given a long expected wait time of 1.5hrs. They ask you go eat something then come back. Good intentions. As patients, we also don’t want them to call us and can’t find us. So we try to accommodate and come back much earlier after 30-40 mins cos we were like only 10 numbers away. They have 2 doctors running. Wait for another 1.5 hrs and ask how many more to us then told if we come back must tell them we are back so they can q us in again. So it’s our error not to report or our error that we step out. I’m sad that I’m no longer able to understand the system and it’s no longer my choice clinic. Sigh, this use to be a place I would go to as my first clinic when Dr Owen was around.

The clinic opening hours are 8am-2pm. I arrived at 9:17am and was told that registration is already closed as there are too many patients. Inside the clinic, there were less than 10 patients. Even if including those who had an online appointment, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that within approx 1hr the registration is closed. This is also not the first time they closed early. What’s the point then of having the opening hours to be until 2pm? Sometimes I observed patients coming around 10-12pm and they would be rejected to see a doctor when there were no one in the clinic. Seems like no matter how early you come, it’s not a guarantee to even register to see a doctor. This matter needs to be looked into and please change the opening hours to what it truly is.

If I can, it will be -10. 1. I went to get a specialist referral for my knee on 13 Jan. 2. Till date (27 Jan), no one call to update on which specialist clinic I should go. 3. When I call today, all she say was go to Xxxx. 4. She shouted it's not her fault and hang up. NEVER GO TO THIS CLINIC. I witness any patient who came and ask why her maid medical records was not submitted. 🤷♀️

Disappointing clinic experience. Waited 2.5hrs despite being told to expect an hour. The staff's attitude was unhelpful, unapologetic, poor communication and it seemed like patients with less severe conditions were prioritized over me, which didn't make sense given my severe migraine and body cramps. The female staff on duty claimed that patients are prioritized based on severity. However when I clarified with the doc, he said there's no such thing. Given the questionable system and poor experience and this is not the only 1 star review I see. I think companies should reconsider having this clinic under their panel, especially since it's under Fullerton and Raffles to ensure better care for their employees. Patients deserve better. Will warn my colleagues staying in the east area to avoid this clinic.
