About "Tuition Agency SG"
Tuition Agency SG is a private tutor matching service operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. It holds a 5/5 rating on Google, though this is based on a single review and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range ($$) level, though specific per-session or monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the agency.
When reaching out, it is worth asking about level and syllabus fit — whether the tutor covers the MOE primary, secondary, or junior college syllabus, or international curricula such as IB or IGCSE. Clarify whether sessions are one-to-one or small group, and whether lessons are conducted at your home, at a designated location, or online. Ask about term commitment, any trial arrangement, and how tutors are matched to students based on subject, learning style, and schedule.
To get started, submit an enquiry through the contact form on the listing, specifying your child's level, the subject or subjects needed, preferred timings, and whether you are looking for home-based or online tuition. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Tuition Agency SG" directly to confirm details.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

Tuition Agency SG displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates are not publicly listed. Fees in Singapore vary significantly depending on tutor background, student level, and format. As a general market reference, part-time tutors typically charge S$25–50 per hour for primary levels and S$40–80 for secondary, while full-time or ex-MOE tutors command S$60–120 or more per hour at secondary and junior college levels. Ask the agency whether fees are quoted per session or as a monthly package, and whether there is a separate registration or matching fee. Enquire also about materials costs and whether a trial session is available before committing to a longer arrangement. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Trial arrangements are common in the private tuition market, though policies vary by agency and individual tutor. Some tutors offer a first session at a reduced rate or at the standard rate with no further obligation; others require a minimum term commitment upfront. When contacting Tuition Agency SG, ask specifically whether a trial session is available and what the cost would be. During a trial, observe whether the tutor explains concepts clearly at your child's level, whether the child is engaged, and whether the teaching style suits how your child learns. A good fit in personality and pace matters as much as academic credentials. Use the first session to gauge whether the tutor can identify your child's gaps and adapt accordingly.
Tuition Agency SG's listing does not specify the qualifications of individual tutors on its panel. When making an enquiry, ask the agency to share the assigned tutor's educational background, whether they hold a degree in the relevant subject, and whether they have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience. Also confirm how many years of tutoring experience they have and which syllabuses they are familiar with — MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP. If your child has specific learning needs or is preparing for a high-stakes examination such as the PSLE or A-Levels, it is worth requesting a tutor whose track record aligns closely with that syllabus and level. Do not hesitate to ask for a different match if the first assigned tutor is not a good fit.
