When enquiring, it is worth clarifying the academic level and syllabus you need covered — whether that is the MOE primary or secondary curriculum, IP, IGCSE, IB, or a polytechnic or pre-university subject. Ask whether tuition is delivered one-to-one or in a small group, as this typically affects both pace and price. Establish whether sessions take place at the Coronation Shopping Plaza centre on Bukit Timah Road, at your home, or online, and confirm whether a trial class is available before committing to a full term or package.
To get started, reach out to Tuition Genius (ETG) via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form — contact details are available on this listing. Before committing to a term, take a trial class and confirm the tutor's credentials and syllabus alignment directly.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
joined etg after my first WA in j1 due to my weak foundation and understanding. The lessons and textbooks were super concise and very helpful for me to understand the concepts. Nearing A levels, the prediction classes and sample essays were very accurate and very helpful for me to pinpoint which concepts to focus on. Through ETG, I was able to secure an A for econs in my A levels. Thankyou for Mr Toh for his engaging and easy to understand lessons. 😁😁
mr Toh is an amazing econs tutor, he helped me jump from Ds and Es to an A for A levels! very understanding and patient tutor! super caring too😆
thank you to mr Toh and his team for the wonderful guidance throughout my JC econs journey!! though the paper was tough, mr toh’s predictions and preparations for us were super accurate and helpful. it made me enjoy econs more than just a subject as the tutors took extra care to integrate real world examples when teaching us concepts. 100% recommend 💯
I only joined ETG in the middle of my A level year, entering the tuition with a borderline U grade in H1 Economics. I feel that upon entering the tuition they were very welcoming and provided adequate materials to support me and with only a few months of attending one class a week and following their homework, my grade increased to a B!! I feel that if i were to join the tuition early on with their very flexible and extensive curriculum, I would definitely have been able to secure an A. Mr Toh teaches econs in a way that brings in real life examples showing that econs is in our everyday life which further amplifies our understanding of econs. Lastly, Jieshi handles the administrative work very well with fast replies and adaptive responses. Overall, i believe that if you enter the tuition with a goal in mind they will definitely help you achieve it.
really have mr toh to thank for being able to score an A at the A levels. scored an E in my mid years, but after going through intense and effective revision at ETG, i managed to identify my gaps and work on them. more importantly, the curriculum at ETG is extremely thorough, meaning that they do not leave anything from the syllabus untouched. predictions before the actual A levels were also helpful in providing us confidence as we did the actual exam. round-the-clock help through mr toh's whatsapp, as well as consults by the ETG team really aided in providing a more personalised learning experience. overall, i am really satisfied with the resources and learning experience at ETG. highly recommended to any junior struggling with econs!

Tuition Genius (ETG) has not published its fees on this listing, so pricing should be confirmed directly with the provider. As a general guide, private tuition in Singapore is typically charged on a per-session or monthly package basis, with rates varying according to the tutor's qualifications, the academic level, and whether sessions are one-to-one or group. Ask whether a trial class is available and whether it is charged at the standard rate or a reduced introductory fee. Also clarify whether there are additional costs for materials or workbooks, and whether sibling or multi-subject discounts apply. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →
Many tuition providers in Singapore offer a trial class before a student commits to a full term or monthly package. It is worth asking Tuition Genius (ETG) directly whether a trial session is available, what it costs, and whether that fee is credited if you continue. Use the trial to assess whether the teaching style suits your child, whether the content level is appropriately matched to the student's current standing, and whether the student is sufficiently engaged throughout the session. A good fit on these three points is a stronger indicator of progress than credentials alone. If you are considering both group and one-to-one formats, ask whether a trial is available for each so you can compare before deciding.
Tuition Genius (ETG) has not published tutor credentials on this listing. When contacting the provider, it is worth asking directly about each tutor's educational background, whether they hold an NIE teaching qualification or a relevant university degree, and how many years they have been teaching the subject and level in question. Also confirm which syllabus the tutor is familiar with — MOE, IP, IGCSE, IB, or AP — as alignment with your child's specific examination requirements is important. If your child is preparing for a high-stakes examination such as the PSLE, O Levels, or A Levels, ask for the tutor's track record with students at that level. If credentials cannot be confirmed upfront, that is a useful signal to factor into your decision before committing to a term.
