About Tutopiya

About Tutopiya

Tutopiya is an education provider offering test preparation and admissions support, operating islandwide from its base at Changi Business Park. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though it is not registered with ACRA. With only 2 Google reviews at a rating of 3.0/5, there is insufficient review data to draw meaningful conclusions about service quality.

Parents and students enquiring about Tutopiya should clarify which examination or admissions target is being prepared for — whether that is the PSLE, O-Levels, A-Levels, IB, IGCSE, SAT, or university admissions. It is worth confirming whether sessions are conducted in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis, whether tuition takes place at the Changi Business Park centre or online, and what the term commitment looks like. Asking about the tutors' academic backgrounds, familiarity with the relevant syllabus, and any trial class availability will help assess whether the programme suits the student's level and learning style.

To take the next step, reach out to Tutopiya via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm syllabus coverage, session format, and pricing before committing to any package.

Tutopiya is a waste of time, energy and MONEY! It's a poorly managed site and app, don't get catfished by the look of it. Class links don't come on time, so if a child joins late thanks to no link, the credit is still deducted. The app lacks a basic Join Class button and support simply tells you to use the website. Credits are deducted even when tutors reschedule or cancel. I paid for 7 hours and suddenly only 3 remained due to billing errors. After days of follow-ups, 2 hours were restored. Their policy charges 100 percent for late cancellations even when the fault is theirs. Customer support is slow, uninformed about their own app, and the claimed 2-hour response time is meaningless. The platform itself causes rushed, missed lessons and wasted money. One star. Not recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tutopiya charge per session?

Tutopiya's pricing is listed at a mid-range ($$) tier, but specific per-session or monthly package fees are not publicly available. Test preparation providers in Singapore typically charge S$50–120 per session for group classes and S$80–200 for one-to-one tuition, depending on the level and subject. When enquiring, ask whether fees are charged per session, as a monthly package, or on a term basis. Confirm whether a trial class is available and at what cost, and check whether materials or resources are included or billed separately. Sibling discounts or package deals may also be available. Can I try a class before committing?

Many test preparation providers offer a trial class so students can assess whether the pace, teaching style, and level of difficulty are a good fit before signing up for a full term. It is worth asking Tutopiya directly whether a trial session is available and whether it is complimentary or charged at the standard rate. During a trial, pay attention to whether the content aligns with the target examination syllabus, whether the tutor adapts to the student's current level, and whether the student feels engaged rather than overwhelmed or underchallenged. These factors matter more than branding when choosing test prep support.

What are the tutors' credentials at Tutopiya?

No information about tutor qualifications is currently listed for Tutopiya. For test preparation and admissions coaching, relevant credentials typically include a degree in the relevant subject, prior MOE or NIE teaching experience, and demonstrable familiarity with the specific examination board — whether that is MOE, Cambridge, College Board (SAT/AP), or IB. Before committing, ask Tutopiya directly about the assigned tutor's academic background, years of experience with the target examination, and track record with past students at a similar level. Syllabus alignment — not just general subject knowledge — is particularly important for structured test preparation.
