About TutorNow

About TutorNow

TutorNow is a tuition centre operating islandwide across Singapore, verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. It holds a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 168 reviews, a robust sample that lends reasonable weight to the score. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly package fees were not available at the time of this listing.

Families considering TutorNow should begin by enquiring about syllabus and level fit — whether the centre covers MOE primary, secondary, or junior college streams, or international curricula such as IB or IGCSE. It is worth asking whether tuition is conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pace and price. Many tuition centres offer a trial class before any term commitment is required, and it is sensible to attend one to assess the teaching style, classroom environment, and whether the level of instruction matches your child's current needs. Clarify also whether sessions are held at a physical centre or available online, and what the term commitment and make-up class policy entails.

To get started, reach out to TutorNow via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm subject availability, schedule a trial class, and obtain a full fee breakdown before committing to a term. Listing data is incomplete — contact TutorNow directly to confirm details.

I reached out to a few agencies, and Esther from Tutornow was the first to get back to me. She was responsive and professional, and I found that her tutors were more experienced while still offering competitive rates. We are very happy with the tutor we’re matched with. He managed the kids extremely well, even when they became distracted, and was able to gently guide them back to the lesson. His calm approach and clear explanations helped keep the children engaged and learning confidently.

No Star – Very Unprofessional Very disappointing experience with this tutor. (Wendy L) She also by passed the tuition centre to self earn our tuition fees cost $150. She was always late and did not even bother to inform. When we politely asked her to at least let us know if she would be late, she later told my children that we are “very particular”. This is completely unacceptable. Children should never be dragged into adult matters. A tutor should behave professionally and show basic respect. Instead, she complained about parents to the children, nagged frequently, and showed no sense of punctuality. When we messaged her to check on availability, she often ignored or did not respond. But when someone did not reply to her quickly, she would complain. The double standard is very clear. Overall, poor communication, no punctuality, and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend her.

First time I met such passionate tuition coordinator Esther who is fast to reply and even update me on tutor status whether good or not. She found Mr Alan for my boy who has slight focus issues. As commented by my boy after first lesson, "Mr Alan is patient and nice and he even used studying strategy like highlighting making the summary "popped" up which makes it easier for less focused children to absord. Thank you Esther!

Very rare to have tutors who can teach well and who really cares about student and wants to inspire them! Hope they continue to push Joash grades up! So far the tutors u recommend for Joash are quite good so far 1) Alice Pang 2) Wei Lao Shi 3) Calvin Thanks for the recommendation. Also want to commend Esther for her insanely fast instant response always, and her efficiency! Even though I msg her at 11pm at one time, she still replied promptly and took every task seriously and try to match tutor to profile as best as possible! Thank you! Will recommend my friends if they need tutor 🙂

Tutor Ms Aliana did really well in engaging with my son, who's usually very shy with new people. My son enjoyed the activities. He's looking forward to the weekly lessons. Thank you to Ms Esther as well for her help in finding the right tutor for my son. 😁

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does TutorNow charge per session?

TutorNow's specific per-session rate was not available at the time of this listing. In the Singapore tuition market, group sessions typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session depending on level and subject, while one-to-one tuition can run from S$60 to S$150 or more per session. Some centres charge per session, while others bill by monthly package or school term. Additional costs to confirm include any trial class fee, materials or workbook charges, and whether sibling or bulk-booking discounts apply. Always request a written fee schedule before committing. Can I try a class before committing?

Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first month's fee. A trial session gives you and your child a chance to assess whether the teaching style, pace, and classroom environment are a good fit before signing up for a full term. During the trial, pay attention to how the tutor explains concepts, how the child responds, and whether the level of work is appropriately challenging. Ask afterwards whether the tutor felt the child was placed in the right group or tier. Contact TutorNow directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to ask about trial class availability and any associated cost.

What are the tutors' credentials at TutorNow?

Specific tutor credentials for TutorNow were not available in the listing data. When enquiring, it is worth asking whether tutors hold NIE training or a relevant university degree, how many years of teaching experience they have, and whether they are familiar with the specific syllabus your child is following — MOE PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IB, IGCSE, or AP. Syllabus alignment matters as much as qualifications; a tutor well-versed in the current MOE examination format and marking scheme will typically deliver more targeted preparation than one with general subject knowledge alone. If this information is not readily available on TutorNow's website or promotional materials, ask directly before booking a trial class.
