Overall, the work delivered was decent and functional. The interior designer (Jed) was very responsive and patient. He genuinely tried to materialise our vision while offering practical suggestions along the way. He followed through to the end with arranging and coordinating touch-ups after the main renovation was completed. It was a pleasant experience working with him. We also appreciate the team’s effort in accommodating our tight renovation schedule. Nonetheless, there were several areas for improvement. At times, the designer seemed a little disorganised and his management skills could be stronger. We were also disappointed with the visualisation aids, as they were unable to generate different colour combinations in the drawings, which made it harder for us to visualise design options. The overall workmanship was generally satisfactory, with most work completed to a decent standard. Though, there was a lack of closer attention to some of the finer details—particularly in carpentry finishes. In addition, the cleaning team did not clean up properly after the renovation and we had to request them to come back again. While the main works were handled well, we would have liked to see greater consistency in effort during the finishing stages as well.

We recently completed our long-awaited BTO renovation with U-Home and would like to give a big shout-out to our ID, Mavis Tan! Mavis is extremely responsive, and what we really appreciate is that her replies always come with immediate action. We had several design discussions and every session was smooth and productive. Although we didn’t do extensive renovation works as we already ops for the HDB fittings, Mavis still gave our “small” project her full professionalism and support. As first-time homeowners, we were unsure about measurements, design choices, and functionality. Mavis guided us patiently and paid great attention to details—such as rounded corners for the wardrobe, neat boxing-up to hide piping, and proper LED light fittings. Overall, we are very happy with the service and ideas provided. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He was very responsive, patient, and professional throughout the entire process, which really gave me peace of mind and built my trust. Communication was clear, timelines were well managed, and any concerns were handled promptly. The final result exceeded my expectations. Was recommended to U-home by a colleague. The project was handled by Ke Lan and I must say that the experience with her was really good! Project was completed within a period of about 3 months. Completely different from my prior experience with another ID company which resulted in horrific 10 months ordeal for my previous home. Ke Lan was professional, prompt and always accommodating to all my requests and changes to design along the way. She is also capable of managing and getting the sub-contractors to deliver and rectify or change any design promptly. While the price charge wasn’t the lowest, I would say that it was quite competitively priced. Will definitely recommend Ke Lan and use her service again for my next reno project!
