About Ultimed Clinic AMK
Ultimed Clinic AMK is a general practice clinic located at 727 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, serving residents across the AMK housing estate and the broader north-central Singapore area. The clinic holds a 4.9/5 rating across 68 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample size and suggests consistent patient satisfaction. No regulatory licences are recorded in the current listing, and ACRA registration is not confirmed — prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's Singapore Medical Council (SMC) registration before booking.
For a first visit, patients typically walk in or contact the clinic via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check queue status or appointment availability. A GP consultation covers acute illness (fever, cough, sore throat, gastroenteritis), minor injuries, repeat prescriptions, and referral letters to specialist outpatient clinics (SOCs) for conditions requiring further investigation. Investigations such as blood panels, urine tests, and swabs may be ordered on the same visit. Patients on long-term medication for chronic conditions listed under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) — including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia — should ask about CDMP enrolment, which unlocks MediSave 500/700 outpatient withdrawal limits to offset out-of-pocket costs.
To get started, reach out to Ultimed Clinic AMK via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current operating hours and whether a walk-in queue or appointment is preferred before making your way to the clinic.
Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
Great experience for my baby’s vaccination! Staffs are very accommodating Ayu and Sasha! The doctor is very kind and gentle with baby :)
I had a great experience at this clinic. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment. The doctor was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns. The facilities were spotless and well-organized. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism shown by everyone. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality healthcare.
The whole experience was very good from the start, the reception,Ayu was friendly and accommodating. Dr Eugene Chan was patient with us for our LPA application and went beyond to advise me on a complication I had. Would highly recommend visiting this clinic. It’s definitely a 5 star for me.
My good friend was checking for me where to get a flu jab, Ultimed Clinic is the cheapest of all. Since it is near my home, I decided to come here for the vaccination. The clinic is new, spacious and everything is spotless clean, the doctor who attended to me is young but professional, the jab done smoothly with ants bite only. Most importantly is no long waiting time👍
Very friendly staff. Sasha, Marley and Ayu were all very helpful and inviting. Dr Tan was very friendly kind and understanding. This is a fantastic new clinic in Ang Mo Kio and I strongly recommend it to anyone.

GP consultations at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with follow-up visits and consultations for complex presentations at the higher end of that range. On top of the consultation fee, investigations are billed separately — a blood panel typically S$60–200, urine tests S$20–50, and throat or nasal swabs S$30–80 depending on the panel. Prescriptions are charged per item, and GST applies on private medical services. Patients holding an Integrated Shield Plan (IP) should note that most IP coverage applies to inpatient and day-surgery settings rather than standard outpatient GP visits. MediSave can be used for selected outpatient conditions under the CDMP (up to S$500–700/year). For any planned referral or procedure, request a written estimate itemising insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. No regulatory licences are currently recorded in this listing, which is an important gap to resolve before booking. Every legitimate clinic must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — searchable by name at smc.gov.sg, which also shows specialist accreditation and any disciplinary history. Verifying both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry are separate steps — neither alone is sufficient. If either cannot be confirmed, contact the clinic directly and ask for the licence number and the consulting doctor's full name before attending. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.
For standard GP visits, most Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) do not cover outpatient consultations — coverage is primarily for inpatient stays and day surgery. However, MediSave can be drawn down for outpatient treatment of conditions under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP), which includes hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, asthma, stroke, and selected other chronic conditions, with withdrawal limits of S$500/year (general) or S$700/year (CDMP). Ask the clinic whether it is a CDMP-registered provider if you manage a listed chronic condition. For any investigation that generates a specialist referral letter, confirm with your IP insurer whether pre-authorisation is needed before attending the specialist outpatient clinic. Patients who are Singapore Citizens or PRs and hold a polyclinic or GP referral letter to a public hospital SOC can access subsidised specialist visits at S$30–80, though non-urgent waiting times typically run 4–12 weeks. For planned procedures, request a written financial counselling estimate from the treating facility that splits the insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions clearly — skipping this step is the most common source of bill surprises.
