About Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East

About Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East

Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East is a general practice and 24-hour clinic located at 135 Jurong Gateway Road, #01-317, serving residents across Jurong East and the wider islandwide catchment. The clinic is KakiList-verified, with a rating of 4.3 out of 5 across 783 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful directional confidence. No ACRA registration or MOH Healthcare Services Licence has been confirmed in the data available to KakiList; prospective patients are encouraged to verify the clinic's licence on the MOH licensee directory and the consulting doctor's registration on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register before attending.

As a 24-hour GP clinic, Unihealth Jurong East is suited to acute and non-urgent presentations at any hour — respiratory infections, gastroenteritis, minor injuries, and chronic disease follow-up under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidaemia. Patients attending a GP clinic can typically walk in without an appointment. Consultation fees sit in the S$25–60 range for GP visits; investigations such as blood panels, swabs, or X-rays are billed separately. Singapore Citizens and PRs holding CHAS cards can use subsidised rates where eligible, and MediSave 500 or CDMP MediSave 700 limits apply to qualifying outpatient visits. For conditions requiring specialist input, the clinic can issue a referral letter to a restructured hospital outpatient specialist clinic, which carries subsidised rates and shorter queues than a self-referred private specialist.

To attend, walk in at any hour or call ahead to confirm waiting times; for non-emergency matters, a phone call or contact form submission via KakiList can help you check whether the clinic manages your specific condition before making the trip.

Extremely disappointing and unkind experience. My friend fell and injured her elbow and had abrasions on both knees. The doctor cleaned and dressed her elbow, which was fine. However, when I went back to ask for two simple dressings to cover the abrasions on both knees, the doctor and staff refused and only gave one, telling me to “use it as a sample” and buy the rest from a pharmacy. This was despite me clearly explaining that my friend was injured, in pain, and having difficulty walking, and that the “nearest” pharmacy at JEM is not near or convenient for someone with painful knee abrasions. She was also wearing a long dress, which would rub against her wounds and cause further pain while walking. What kind of response is this from people working in healthcare? A complete lack of empathy, understanding, and basic common sense. Two small dressings would have made a big difference to an injured patient, yet they chose to be dismissive instead. Very disappointed. Compassion should not be optional in the medical field.

brought my mom today to the clinic, all the experience was very pleasant. I used to came here personally to visit the doctor, back then the counter staff wasnt as pleasant as the current ones. Im so impressed, to the receptionists & the doctor, everyone was so lovely & warm. My mom got diagnosed with influenza and the doctor was very helpful & knowledgable to give advises. Thank you so much!!

This has been for the past two years, my go-to clinic. The counter staff is polite and the doctor evidently, cares about your condition. It's never a touch-and-go affair here, it's always a mindful and thorough review of your symptoms and what ails you. There was a time last year where I was inflicted with tonsilitis and a cough that simply wouldn't go away. After 2 different visits at 2 separate clinics, I chanced upon this place in desperation and fortunately, this visit availed to me the treatment that eradicated this pesky, sleep-slaying illness. As a sickly individual, I appreciate having this clinic to help me with my medical needs. Thank you.

Dr Joyce is rly nice, takes the time to explain what's up with my health. Male nurse taking the vitals was pretty nice when he said okay I'll take your measurements etc, one of the counter ladies wasn't so pleasant, impatient tone, and she also told a slightly hard of hearing number in a louder low-key yelling way what his number was.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East charge?

GP consultations at a 24-hour clinic in Singapore typically run S$25–60, with after-hours, weekend, and public-holiday surcharges of S$10–30 on top of the base rate. Investigations are billed separately: a basic blood panel runs S$60–200, a throat or nasal swab S$20–60, and a chest X-ray S$80–150. Prescriptions are itemised on the receipt. Singapore Citizens and PRs holding CHAS Blue, Orange, or Merdeka/Pioneer Generation cards are entitled to subsidised consultation and medication rates at CHAS-enrolled GP clinics — confirm with the clinic at the counter. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions (up to S$700/year per patient) and for selected outpatient treatments under the MediSave 500 limit. Any planned investigation should come with a verbal or written estimate of the out-of-pocket cost before the test is run. See the full GP & 24-Hour Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

Is Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic operating in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory by searching the clinic name or address. No MOH licence has been confirmed in the data currently available to KakiList for this listing; patients should check the MOH directory directly before attending. Every practising doctor must also appear on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg. You can search by the consulting doctor's name to confirm active registration status, any specialist accreditation, and whether any disciplinary history is recorded. For a GP clinic, basic SMC registration (without a specialist accreditation) is the standard — specialist accreditation is only required for formal specialist practice. Confirm both the clinic licence and the named doctor's SMC entry; neither alone is sufficient.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Unihealth 24-Hr Clinic Jurong East?

For GP visits, MediSave can be used under the MediSave 500 outpatient withdrawal limit (S$500/year per account holder) for approved outpatient treatments, or under the Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) MediSave 700 limit for listed chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions. Present your NRIC and confirm CDMP enrolment at the counter — the clinic registers you into the programme on their system. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) layered on MediShield Life generally do not cover GP outpatient visits — these plans are primarily designed for inpatient admissions and day surgery. If you need a specialist referral and plan to use an IP for a subsequent specialist consult or procedure, ask the GP for a referral letter to a restructured hospital's outpatient specialist clinic (SOC), which qualifies for subsidised rates, rather than a direct self-referral to a private specialist. For any planned investigation, request an itemised cost estimate before proceeding so you can confirm the MediSave-claimable and out-of-pocket portions in advance.
