After meeting so many IDs for quotations, we are glad to have found Designer Carol Low from Unimax Creative to handle our first BTO project as Designer & Project Manager. Good Customer Service! Carol has excellent customer service skills; talking with her is like talking to a friend who understands our aesthetic requirements. She gave a very reasonable quotation and we were happy with discounts offered. It was a pleasure to work with Coral who is a good & responsible designer. She took us step by step through the renovation journey & gave constant updates & support. Good Designer! We wanted a nature-inspired Scandi home. The creative brief was Scandi design infused with woody & green vibes & maximise space as much as possibly can in a 4-room BTO and be aesthetically pleasing. Carol worked fast to come up with design, mood-board, artwork rendering & samples. She is spot on with creative ideas. She has amazing sense of colours & design ideas that resonate with clients. Wonderful Project Manager! It was hard to find an ID who understands the ideas & design look we wanted & executed them so well within a short time of 2 months. Carol quickly came out with timeline of the renovation works and detailed breakdown of the budget & send us videos & pictures of progress. Not only her steady, systematic & fast paced project schedule gave us confidence, she could check, mark & rectify defects as she went along. It was no hassle to pick from colour palettes & materials Carol shortlisted for us to use for the project. She went to showrooms to view & order the tiles we chose. She went on shopping trips with us for bathroom accessories & lightings, always guiding us on the selection. Carol was very responsive to come up with solutions to problems that came up along the way. She is very capable, responsible & hardworking as a Designer & Project Manager. She even waited at the house for hours to receive delivery of furniture & place them in the right position & fit them in exactly as measured & planned. We are very pleased with the outcome which exceeded our expectations. The renovation journey was smooth & hassle free as Carol proved to be experienced, reliable & responsive to our design goals & last minute requests. We are satisfied with prompt response for touch ups & corrections even after we moved in! Excellent service! All thanks to Carol’s design & execution of project that we can have a warm & cosy home! It’s great how it all came together beautifully within our budget & more importantly, within the short timeline to move in! We worked with Tony for our condo renovation. Our unit has a very odd shaped layout with hardly any parallel walls. Tony did a great job of helping us visualize arrangements that can maximise space and is aesthetically pleasing. He was patient in handling all our questions and taking our preferences into account. He tried his best to avoid changing/replacing things that were functional and didn’t need to be changed. He was very reasonable with pricing and we did not encounter any surprises or hidden costs along the way. We are very pleased with the workmanship and services provided by Tony and Unimax. It was hard to find an ID who can understand our needs and take our inputs into account. Right from the first meeting Tony was quick to understand our requirements, sketch out possible layouts and was open to suggestions every step of the way. He was always helpful with solutions to problems that came up during the renovation. He also has a good relationship with the contractors which made communication and project execution very smooth. We will definitely recommend Tony to anybody who wants a smooth renovation process and a unit that will feel like home.

We enjoyed working with Unimax and our Interior Designer - Tony has been responsive and responsible. We can safely let him handle the coordination with the workers, and the workmanship is superb. The outcome of the renovation matches the ID of the pictures shown. Tony is energetic and does not compromise quality with his work. He constantly updated us on the renovation progress, and spent numerous hours to discuss with us on the designs. We highly recommend Unimax as your one-stop renovation should you are looking for a good and responsible ID/ contractor.

We had our first home designed and renovated by Chloe. As we are really new to the renovation process and knew nothing, Chloe helped us a lot along our entire renovation process (even though the carpentry was for our kitchen only) She is really detailed and responsive to all our queries, which gave us a very good learning process and wonderful experience during this journey. As for the workmanship, I would say nobody is perfect (it is not perfect). However, Chloe is very prompt and responsible on having the carpenters to come over and fix any imperfections (like slanted cabinet door), which I am really happy about and we are satisfied with how our kitchen turned out! We are really glad and thankful that we've engaged Unimax & having Chloe to be working with us. And I am really in love with my kitchen (& of course all other stuff that was brought together along with Chloe's help).

We did our renovation with them one year ago. On National Day 2022, our toilet flooded. the floor trap was clogged. I decided to try dig the piping to check what was causing the clog and to my amazement I saw sediments of concrete, wires and plastic in the pipe. All these were swept into our pipe thus increasing the chances of clogging. We called our ID to clarify and asked for help but he said we have to pay for the professionals to remove the clog in which we did ($200). they told us it was clogged due to hair. We understand that hairfall is part of life and most toilets go through the same issues but because of all these concrete pieces in the pipes, the concrete causes the hair to get stuck. Apart from concrete there was also alot of sand inside the pipe. Very bad experience during the whole renovation period too from painting our house the wrong colour to forgetting to paint certain feature walls.
