About Up For Paws

About Up For Paws

Up For Paws is a pet boarding service based at 31 Eng Kong Terrace, Singapore 599004, with islandwide coverage. The listing is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.9-star rating across 42 Google reviews — a moderate sample that lends reasonable confidence to that signal, though prospective clients should weigh it alongside their own enquiries. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$).

When enquiring about boarding, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and temperament details ready, as these affect suitability and any applicable rate differences. You will also need to provide up-to-date vaccination records — typically DHPP and rabies for dogs, or FVRCP for cats — before or at drop-off. If your pet has not stayed in a boarding environment before, ask whether a trial visit or familiarisation session is available to gauge how your animal settles. Clarify the daily routine, exercise arrangements, and how the team handles pets that show stress or health concerns during their stay. If you require recurring boarding, discuss scheduling and availability in advance.

To take the next step, reach out to Up For Paws via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to share your pet's details, confirm vaccination requirements, and check availability for your intended dates.

Jeremy has been attending up for paws for a number of years now. He absolutely loves going, it's his favourite day of the week. The guys collect him from my apartment and bring him back. They all treat him with so much love, care, and attention. Taking lots of photos and videos every week, with lots of enrichment programs and swimming to keep him entertained all day, i know he is in safe hands. I thank everyone for all their hard work and dedication to making it a great day for jeremy!

The team at Up For Paws is a truly dedicated bunch. From the wagging tails and happy barks I see every time I drop off or pick up my dog, it is evident the care and attention all the dogs receive there. The dogs are brought as a group to a new park, dog run or gardens at every of our daycare sessions so far. On top of learning to socialise with other dogs, my dog is also blessed with many new outdoor experiences I otherwise would not have been able to provide so well. There are regular updates and pictures sent to the pawrents throughout the day. The updates and photos are all taken and tailored for my dog. It is a conscientious effort by the team that I'm always impressed by. We receive regular reminders on available sessions for the coming week so we can plan ahead (I can see why demand here is so high!) Up For Paws goes above and beyond with enrichment and training activities on certain days. For other occasions like Christmas, they have organised mini-photoshoots for our dogs, and fund/food-raising for dog shelters. I want to share my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible team at Up For Paws. Thank you for being such a wonderful team and for the positive impact you have on our pets' lives!

My Samoyed, Polaris, has been going to up for paws twice a week since she was 6 months old. She always has the best time, and I can leave her with them knowing that they take such stellar care of her and all her friends! Polaris returns happy, well exercised, and most importantly, excited to return! Thank you to all the teachers at up for paws for your patience and for putting in such effort for my baby ❤️❤️

The minute he saw the puppy bus , he immediately jumped up and down excitedly! He came back exhausted and slept all night like a baby -:) Hurb and the amazing staff are extremely friendly and fur loving !! He got so much love and attention ❤️Milo really misses his day care days !!

I love Up For Paws, and so does my dog!! Hurb and his team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog to their adventure pack walks for over 2 years now, and it’s been such an amazing experience. From the thorough evaluation of my dog to ensure that he socialises well with the other dogs, to the weekly pick ups that they do with 100% gentleness, with the best service - it’s so obvious that my dog looks forward to his walks with UFP every week. The team updates a group chat with photos every pack walk, and selects different locations every week so it doesn’t get boring. Unlike other dog businesses, UFP genuinely cares for their clients - both dogs and humans! I go to them for advice on dog care too, and their customer service is reliable, communicative and personable. When I travel, I know my dog is in good hands with them and having his weekly social activity, and the team keeps me updated constantly. I can’t say enough good things about them, and wholeheartedly trust them with my fur baby.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Up For Paws charge?

Up For Paws is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for pet boarding in Singapore. Specific nightly or daily rates were not published at the time of listing, so it is best to contact the provider directly for a quote. Rates in the Singapore boarding market typically vary by pet size, breed, and the type of accommodation offered (e.g. shared vs private room). Ask whether add-ons such as extra walks, grooming touch-ups, or medication administration carry separate charges, and confirm whether transport to and from the facility is available and at what cost. What vaccinations does Up For Paws require?

Most reputable boarding facilities in Singapore require dogs to be current on DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations, and often bordetella (kennel cough) given the close-contact environment of boarding. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Vaccinations are typically expected to have been administered within the past 12 months. You will usually need to bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate at drop-off. Contact Up For Paws ahead of your booking to confirm their specific requirements, as policies can differ between providers, and arriving without the correct documentation may result in the booking being declined.

Is Up For Paws licensed and insured?

In Singapore, pet boarding facilities are required to hold a licence from the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board. At the time this listing was compiled, no AVS licence was recorded for Up For Paws on KakiList. This does not necessarily mean the licence is absent — it may simply not have been provided during the verification process — but you should ask the provider directly to confirm their AVS licence number before booking. On the question of insurance, ask whether the facility carries coverage for incidents such as pet injury or illness during the boarding period, and what the protocol is if your pet requires veterinary attention while in their care. Visit the facility in person, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
