I am not sure why this shop has received such high ratings so far. The guy who works in the shop is very passive aggressive and plainly rude. When I tried to understand more about something by asking additional questions, he said “did I say that?” I said no, then he said: then you should not do it. Also, he would not explain things to us properly who are clearly less well versed in the world of myopia than he is. And when we ask specific questions, he just says: why? does it bother you? Then when I called him out on being late for 20 mins than the advertised opening time at 9:30am, he said he works with appointments only which is certainly not the case. Because we had been to the shop before and gotten lenses there without appointments. The lady who works here is very nice and reasonable but I’ve only seen her once. Needless to say this is our last visit here despite the convenience of its location. We did not expect superior customer service but this type of attitude esp. in the service industry should not be tolerated.

Accidentally broke my favorite Selenite Cupido frame which I bought especially in Kamakura, Japan. All of the optical shops which I went to had one line, 'we don't repair craft eyewear in Singapore you'll need to buy a new one'. Almost gave up until I remembered back in 2022 there was this shop in Holland Drive which managed to get my Oakley shades back to life. Visio Optical didn't disappoint they did a great job and rescued my favorite frame like the experts that they are. Thank you! Also bought a Thom Browne frame they have special collection go check it out.

steven did an amazing job fixing my favourite spectacles when every other shop said they could not fix it. when i received my specs, it looked polished, glued up real nicely and screws were tightened as well. there is a change in shape where the metal broke off from the frame but it is barely noticeable and probably needed to be done to fix it. amazing service. i would recommend anyone who needs their spectacles fixed. furthermore, there is a 1 month warranty! even better . thank you steven.
