Singapore National Eye Centre
Most enquiries to Vision Eye Centre involve Eye Care. The operator works directly with homeowners, which means you deal with the same contact through quote, scheduling, and job completion rather than being handed off.
Vision Eye Centre covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give Vision Eye Centre an average of 3.5/5 across 450 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.
For a realistic quote from Vision Eye Centre, send a brief description of the work on WhatsApp — include your area, property type, and when you'd like the job done. Because KakiList doesn't sit between you and the provider, quotes tend to come back quickly and without boilerplate upselling.
The staff (registration, evaluation,) were very friendly and professional. The processes from registration to evaluation were very thorough and fast. There were many people at SNEC for eyes checks/ evaluation/ consultation. For doctor consultations and many other tests were done, but may not be necessary for what i came for consultation of cataract. The extra tests were checked for retina issue and glaucoma, main doctor assistant checked my eyes in very details and told the female doctor that one of my eye nerve got issue, so this doctor referred me to a nerve doctor and he checked no issue, no glaucoma risk for now and only 20% cataract. All these extra cost for the tests…even subsidised health care for SGrean will not be affordable.
The Singapore National Eye Centre is, without question, one of the finest places in the world for retinal surgery. From the moment we arrived, we felt we were in the hands of true professionals. Dr. Danny Cheung is extraordinary. His skill, calm confidence, and clarity gave us complete trust during what could have been a very stressful time. It’s rare to meet a doctor who combines technical mastery with such reassurance and care. We are deeply grateful. We could have chosen to go anywhere for this procedure, and I am so thankful we chose SNEC. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. I’ve seen comments about waiting times, but in my view, excellence takes time. I would much rather wait for precision and world-class care than be rushed through something as important as eye surgery. When you are dealing with vision, you want it done right — and that is exactly what you receive here. Thank you, Dr. Cheung and the entire team, for your dedication and professionalism. It truly means more than words can express.
I don't have words enough to share how grateful I feel to SNEC, to his amazing, warm and efficient team of professionals and specially to Dr Danny Cheung. They not only saved my eye but they were caringly by my side all the way of this scary journey and foe this, the entire center will always be in my heart. Singaporeans are extremely lucky to count on this level of specialists and should not take for granted the magic this center delivers on daily basis. Our eyes are precious and I got to keep mine thanks to Dr Danny and his team. THANK YOU.
Accompanied my elderly mother to SNEC this morning. After spending 4 hours there, I can understand why this hospital has got such terrible feedback. While I was waiting I could tell that most of the patients are elderly. Given this, there really should be signs that are elderly friendly so that first timers know their way around. Secondly, the nurses doing counter duty really need to be retrained in bedside manners. The way they provide service, you would think the consultation and services are provided free of charge. I can understand why Filipino nurses get such good reviews because compared to the nurses in SNEC, every other nurse is good. Even the SGH nurses are so much kinder in their approach and better in patient service. Lastly, the young newbie doctors that are serving at the Laser Centre, really need to leave their exam scripts behind and start speaking to people and explain the issues in a simpler easier to understand manner. They did not even bother asking my mother whether she understood what was the diagnosis. Simply just rambled on with their medical jargon as if we are their examiners. SNEC - please go learn from SGH and improve your patient service. You are not running a free clinic and we are not queueing for sympathy service.
Feedback for Friday, 1:30 PM SNEC SGH. I would like to commend Miss Salina Bte Masri Khan, Senior Patient Service Associate. During this time, only two counters were serving patients, and despite being interrupted multiple times while handling registrations, she remained composed and attended to all the disgruntled patients diligently. It was evident that she was overwhelmed, yet she maintained her professionalism throughout. I would also like to praise Miss Vera Sheetal, Senior Staff Nurse, who checked my eyesight and reassured me that my vision was fine. She also arranged for an earlier appointment for me. Her competence and professionalism gave me peace of mind as I left SNEC. Finally, Siti Rohaya Binte Haron gave my wife the necessary advises following her discharge from the cataracts operation today which boostered her confidence and well being. What a great teamwork and camaraderie amongst the hardworking and dedicated staff at SNEC! Keep up the excellent work!
