Engaging a confinement nanny typically begins several months before the due date, as experienced nannies are often booked well in advance. Prospective clients should arrange an interview to assess compatibility, discuss food preferences — including whether a Malay, Cantonese, or other dietary tradition is preferred — and agree on the scope of overnight care, baby bathing, herbal soup preparation, and support for the mother's recovery. A standard engagement covers 28 days, though some families extend to 56 days, and it is advisable to confirm in writing whether confinement meals are included in the package or billed separately, along with any preferences around breastfeeding support or specific postpartum practices.

To get started, reach out to Warda Doula Care via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check availability around your expected delivery month and arrange an interview before confirming a booking.

Cannot recommend Warda enough for your pre and post natal needs. Warda is extremely skilled and really takes the care and attention to assess what your body needs to heal and feel better. My body feels new and improved after doing the 10 day post partum massage and binding treatment. I also appreciated Warda helping me with all of my lactation questions and needs, and supporting me in my breast feeding journey with love and encouragement.

I was fortunate to have Warda as my postnatal Jamu masseuse after both of my pregnancies, and it was the best investment in my recovery. I recently completed 13 sessions with her. Throughout all the sessions, Warda was professional, highly skilled, and openly shared her knowledge about postpartum recovery. The massage was both firm and comfortable, and the wrap was comfortable to wear. I experienced noticeable inch loss and a detox effect afterwards, and my body felt lighter and more aligned. I also felt very well cared for throughout each session. I would highly recommend her to any new mum looking for proper, effective postpartum care.

Warda was the best decision we made for our childbirth experience in Singapore. As newly arrived in the country, my husband and I were looking for a doula who understood the hospital system and medical teams, and who could guide us while providing emotional support during the birth of our daughter. From the moment we arrived at the hospital, Warda supported us wholeheartedly. She helped manage pain through bodywork and the use of a TENS machine, and gently guided me with great care through every stage of labour. Her calm presence, encouraging words, and genuine compassion were crucial to the positive outcome of our birth experience in Asia. Our prenatal meeting was extremely informative, and we felt safe, supported, and welcomed by the depth of knowledge and guidance she shared. I also received both prenatal and postpartum bodywork from Warda, which were incredibly helpful for preparing my body for birth and supporting my recovery afterward. We truly don’t have enough words to express our gratitude for having Warda as our doula. We recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking a deeply caring presence combined with outstanding professional excellence. ❤️

If you’re looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable and truly invested in you, I cannot recommend Warda enough. From the very beginning, Warda made me feel safe, heard and supported. During labour, when the pain felt overwhelming, she grounded me with her calm presence, steady voice and gentle reassurance. She helped me manage my pain with practical techniques and encouragement. Every time I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore, she reminded me that I could. She respected my choices and advocated for me when needed. What I also remember most is that she created a space where I felt empowered instead of afraid. After birth, she followed up with me everyday to check on how me, my husband and our baby was doing. She also gave me very practical advice on breastfeeding and lactation. From the time we engaged her, we felt very supported. We are grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any mother who wants to feel safe and supported during labour.

I am so grateful to have had Warda as our doula. Without her, my natural delivery simply wouldn’t have been possible. She supported me through every wave of pain — when it became unbearable, she stayed right by my side for hours, guiding me through it and providing constant pain-relief massage that made all the difference. Warda prepared both me and my husband so well for this special day. Her calm presence, her gentle guidance, and her endless reassurance helped us feel confident and ready. During the birth, she made the entire experience even more meaningful by capturing beautiful, intimate photos that we will treasure forever. She was incredibly reliable and always available on the phone whenever we needed her, before and after the delivery. With her warm and friendly personality, it was so easy to feel comfortable around her — like having a trusted friend walking the journey with us. I would wholeheartedly recommend Warda to anyone planning for a natural baby delivery. She is truly exceptional.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Warda Doula Care charge for confinement?

Warda Doula Care uses a package-based pricing model, displayed at the mid-range ($$) tier. In the Singapore market, a standard 28-day confinement nanny package typically runs between S$3,500 and S$6,500, depending on the nanny's experience, whether confinement meals are included, and whether overnight care is part of the arrangement. A 56-day package, where available, is priced accordingly. Confirm with Warda Doula Care exactly what is bundled — overnight stays, baby bathing, herbal soups, and mother's recovery support can each be included or billed separately. How far ahead should I book Warda Doula Care?

It is advisable to begin enquiring at least four to six months before your expected delivery date. In-demand nannies across Singapore are frequently booked six to twelve months in advance, particularly around peak birth periods. Use the lead time well: arrange an interview to assess compatibility, discuss food traditions (for example, whether you prefer Malay, Cantonese, or another dietary approach), clarify overnight care expectations, and agree on any special requests around breastfeeding or postpartum practices. Locking in all terms in writing before the nanny's start date avoids misunderstandings during what is an already demanding period.

Is the nanny trained and what happens if she's unsuitable?

Confinement nanny certification is not formally regulated in Singapore, so qualifications vary. It is worth asking Warda Doula Care directly about the nanny's background — years of experience, any formal training in newborn care or breastfeeding support, and references from previous families. If the arrangement proves unsuitable after the engagement begins, the resolution process depends on whether the booking is through an agency or directly with a freelance nanny. Agencies typically offer a replacement within a defined window; freelance arrangements have less formal recourse. Clarify the replacement or dispute process before signing any agreement.
