My 5-rm flat of over 20 years needed a rehaul and I decided to work with Derrius Koh from Weiken after chatting with a few IDs recommended by HomeMatch. Derrius was patient and very responsive in all our communications. His design for my home was so relaxing and cosy I can stay in all day. Despite the simplicity, there were still plenty of storage space for my practical needs. The landscaping he did for my TV console was the pièce de résistance, adding color to my living room. My mom got a similar tree for her own place after seeing mine. It was a pleasure working with Derrius. I had full trust in him and left him to run the project with minimal intervention.

We are happy and thankful to have had Sia Yu Cheng (Sia) as our interior designer for our first home renovation. From the very beginning, Sia distinguished himself through his attentive listening and thoughtful approach. During our first meeting at a meet-and-greet event, we came prepared with a detailed moodboard. Sia took the time to study our ideas carefully and provided advice that balanced both practicality and our intended design theme. When we later invited Sia to assess the actual unit before confirming our ID, he was very meticulous in reviewing the house condition and making sure the initial proposal was feasible. He also made a conscious effort to ensure the quotation was aligned with our requirements and as accurate as possible, minimising any surprise cost later in the project. Throughout the renovation journey, Sia has been very responsive and patient with us. He approached issues as a genuine problem-solver, often presenting solution with multiple options while clearly outlining the pros and cons of each option. As a couple who values granular details, we appreciated his willingness to address even technical questions and explain them in a clear (layman) manner. Sia also guided us through key decisions such as when choosing our laminates, carpentry, tiles, and flooring. What is truly reassuring to us and where Sia shines the most is his ability to work well with his contractors and partners. He ensured that our requirements were communicated clearly and executed smoothly on-site. When issues arose during the renovation, he worked closely with his team to resolve them quickly. Even when we revised our preferences at various stages, Sia remained flexible and supportive, ensuring that the renovation progressed smoothly with minimal disruption. Looking back, we are happy that the home renovation went smoothly with no major issue and the handover was done on time as scheduled. We also appreciate Sia’s sincerity where he assured us that we could always approach and count on him if we encounter any issues in the future. All-in-all, we will definitely recommend Sia for anyone who is looking for an ID and who wants to renovate their house.

We had an amazing experience working with our interior designer, Damien from start to finish. From the very first consultation at Home by Hitcheed, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly detailed in every aspect of the renovation process. What truly impressed us was his commitment to going through every single detail with us, from layout planning and material selection to carpentry finishes and lighting placement. Nothing was overlooked, and he was always patient in answering our questions and providing practical advice. Most importantly, he managed the entire renovation timeline exceptionally well. Everything was well coordinated and executed smoothly, allowing us to move into our new home within just 2 months and just in time before Chinese New Year! That meant a lot to us and our family. I had a wonderful experience working with Howard Tan at Wei Ken. I meet Howard during a random walk in, and am not acquainted with him prior. Since my last major renovation was 20 yrs ago, I have not caught up with tnew materials such as sinistered stones. I had a lot of questions, such as whether the 3M stickers are able to hold their strength on the enginneered surfaces. Howard was very helpful to personally test out them out for me. My ideas were also constantly evolving throughout the renovation. such as deciding to use granite midway during the project for the toilet. Howard was very flexible in managing changes in the project schedule, re-calculated numerious times for my renovation budget on the fly, and dynamically coordinated with new suppliers. There was also me wanting to make changes to the kitchen cabinets as I found that the hood was too low for my height, even though the cabinets have already been installed. Naturally, the carpenters were not pleased with the post-installation request, but Howard successfully managed to have the changes done for me. Most importantly, despite my many changes, Howard completed my project within budget and on time. Outstanding issues were promptly settled. In all, the entire renovation journey has been pleasant, even though I tend to micro-manage. I appreciate Howard's steadiness, patience and promptness in running the project.

We are grateful to have Emily Neo @Tradehub21 to do our house renovation. Her remarkable design creativity and expert colour scheme made every space of our home feel beautifully balanced. The standout feature is definitely the stunning carpentry. The curve design elements that Emily has created add a soft elegance to the house. The craftsmanship is really impressive.
