About Wildlings Forest School
Wildlings Forest School is an education provider specialising in holiday camps, based at 27A Loewen Road in the Dempsey Hill area and operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, with a 4.1-star rating across 68 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licences are listed, which is typical for outdoor and nature-based holiday camp programmes that do not require ECDA registration.
Parents enquiring about a holiday camp place would usually want to confirm the age range and group composition that best suits their child, whether the programme runs across school holidays only or in extended blocks, and whether it operates rain or shine or has contingency arrangements for wet weather given the outdoor nature setting. Group sizes and adult-to-child ratios are worth asking about directly, along with what children should bring, what attire is appropriate for forest-based activities, and any medical or allergy considerations the facilitators need to know in advance. The Loewen Road site at the Dempsey cluster offers a naturalistic environment, though parents should confirm whether programming also takes place at off-site islandwide locations.
To take the next step, contact Wildlings Forest School via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about upcoming holiday camp schedules, available age groups, and how to confirm a place.
Take the trial class and confirm the facilitator's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Absolutely brilliant party! We had a campsite party at Dempsey the staff where amazing I was nervous about safety but they had it all under control and were very conscious of the safety of the kids and also encouraged and ensured every child had an experience lighting the fire and chopping wood. We would highly recommend Wildlings for a party! Thanks so much to the lovely staff who were so patient and kind!
Both my children attend Wildlings Forest School Club and I can't recommend it highly enough. My two are very different, an active 4 year old boy and a creative, emotionally aware 10 year old girl, but the Forest School leaders provide such a variety of experiences that there's something for each of them every single week. We've been going for years and it's never repetitive (not just forever practising a forward roll or how to kick a ball!). The effort from the leaders is huge and we really appreciate how creative they are. Thank you Wildlings🙏🏽
We go to Wildlings Nature Play at both Dempsey and West Coast Park and love it. It's always a little different each time, not like indoor play-gyms which are the same formula every visit and a bit overwhelming with colors and noise plus I do worry about the germs in those places. Wildlings recently started doing free interactive tours and things like feeding the chickens as part of Nature Play which was a lovely surprise the other day. We love it and go whenever we can and for all the events which are super fun.
Our child attended a Forest Babies session at Wildlings. During the session, a plastic mirror distributed to the children was swung by another child and cut our toddler’s forehead. We understand that minor bumps can happen when young children play together. However, what concerned us was how the incident was handled afterwards. After we asked the school to review the situation and provide clarification, we were told that before our child could attend future sessions, we would need to sign a participant waiver acknowledging the risks of the programme. In other words, after a child was injured during a session using materials provided by the organisers, the proposed resolution was for parents to sign a liability waiver in order to continue attending. While the mirrors were described as “age-appropriate educational materials,” the fact remains that a toddler was cut on the face during the session. The explanation we received focused largely on the nature of outdoor play and parental accompaniment rather than on reviewing the safety of the materials or the activity setup. We appreciate the refund offered for that session. However, after careful consideration we decided not to return. For parents considering the programme, it may be worth asking in advance how incidents involving injuries are reviewed and what steps are taken afterwards.
We live nearby and have been bringing our two kids here for years. Honestly, we just wanted them to spend more time outdoors and avoid the constant temptation of TVs and iPads. It’s really different from everything else around here — not another indoor play centre. There’s nothing fancy about it, but kids don’t need that. They just enjoy being outside and playing freely. It genuinely feels like a place designed for kids. It actually reminds me of how I grew up back home. I never expected to find something like this in Singapore. If you’re looking for something that really gets your kids outdoors, it’s definitely worth trying. They also offer a variety of programmes and different price points.

Wildlings Forest School displays a mid-range price indicator but does not publish a fixed per-session or per-camp rate publicly. Holiday camp fees in Singapore typically vary by programme duration, age group, and whether the camp runs for a half-day or full day. You should ask directly about the per-day or per-camp-block fee, whether a materials or activity charge is included, and if a sibling or early-bird discount applies. Confirm also whether a deposit is required to secure a place and what the cancellation or transfer policy is if your child is unwell. See the full holiday camps cost guide for Singapore →
Wildlings Forest School's trial session policy is not listed publicly, so it is worth asking directly whether a single-day taster or introductory session is available before booking a full camp block. For nature and forest school programmes, a trial day is a practical way to gauge whether your child is comfortable in an outdoor, unstructured learning environment and whether the pace and facilitation style suit them. When assessing fit, look at how facilitators manage the group, how much free exploration is balanced with guided activity, and how the programme responds to children with different comfort levels outdoors. Contact Wildlings directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about this option.
No facilitator credentials are listed publicly for Wildlings Forest School. For forest school and nature-based programmes, relevant qualifications may include Forest School Association (FSA) leader certification, early childhood or outdoor education training, or paediatric first aid certification — the last of which is particularly pertinent given the outdoor setting. It is reasonable to ask directly about the lead facilitator's background, the adult-to-child ratio maintained during sessions, and what first aid and emergency protocols are in place on-site. If your child has specific medical needs or allergies, raise these at the point of enquiry.
