About Wing Joo Loong

About Wing Joo Loong

Wing Joo Loong is a confinement food caterer based at 45 Genting Rd, Singapore 349488, delivering islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList and the business is registered with ACRA. It holds a Google rating of 4/5 across 14 reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional only. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) and packages are the standard price model for confinement food delivery.

Mothers typically begin by enquiring about the 28-day package, though shorter 7-day or 14-day trial options are worth asking about if you want to assess the food before committing to a full month. Confirm the number of trays per day — most caterers deliver two (lunch and dinner), with breakfast as an optional add-on — and clarify whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the package price or billed separately. Check the delivery window for your address, particularly if you are in a landed or less central area, as surcharges may apply. It is also worth asking about the dietary tradition followed (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Western postnatal, halal, or vegetarian) and whether the menu rotates daily or weekly, so you know what to expect across a full confinement period.

To get started, call or submit the enquiry form to ask about current package pricing, available start dates, and whether a trial meal can be arranged before you pay any deposit.

Bought from them at the expo food fair but their dried soup herbs not fresh. Wolf berry looks damp n not dried type. Soup taste very sour because of this wolf berry.

Wow! If you haven’t seen much about chinese tonics. This is the place. It’s like a mini museum of chinese tonics. Other than the birds nests, cordyceps, America ginsengs that we commonly see in chinese shops. There are types of exotic/ less known tonic that can be found here. You can find Korean ginsengs all types, Saiga horns, Ganoderma (wild lingzhi), tiger milk (Hu Ru, for asthma), all sizes of fish stomach (yu du, for lungs), monkey dates (hou zao, for phlegm. It looks like pebbles), horse dates (ma zao, for phlegm, look like some kind of stone/crystal). Simple wow!

I’ve received a fantastic hamper from my friend. Thank you so much. It’s really thoughtful of Wing Joo Loong to have such a presentable hamper that includes abalones , red wine , red ginseng. I like the red ginseng a lot, I’ll definitely purchase more of it from the outlet in future.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Wing Joo Loong charge for a confinement food package?

Wing Joo Loong operates on a package model, which is standard for confinement food delivery. Across Singapore, 28-day packages typically range from S$1,200 to S$2,800 depending on the number of trays per day, whether herbal soups and tonics are included, and the dietary tradition offered. Shorter 7-day or 14-day options may be available for mothers who want to trial the food first. Confirm whether herbal soups, red dates tea, longan tea, and confinement tonics are bundled into the quoted price or charged separately, and ask whether there is a delivery surcharge for your area. See the full confinement food cost guide for Singapore →

What dietary tradition does Wing Joo Loong follow, and is there a trial meal?

Singapore confinement food caterers typically follow one of several traditions — Cantonese (the most common, featuring warming herbal soups, ginger, sesame oil, and rice wine), Hokkien, Teochew, Western-style postnatal, halal, or vegetarian. Contact Wing Joo Loong directly to confirm which tradition their kitchen follows, whether the daily menu rotates or repeats weekly, and whether dishes can be adjusted for breastfeeding mothers who prefer low-spice or alcohol-free preparations. Most reputable caterers offer a single-day trial meal at around S$30–60. It is strongly advisable to try before committing to a 28-day package, as confinement appetite and personal taste vary considerably — and a month is a long time to eat food that does not suit you.

Is Wing Joo Loong licensed and how is food safety handled?

No regulatory licences are currently listed for Wing Joo Loong on this directory. Legitimate confinement food caterers should hold an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, which indicates the kitchen has been inspected and graded — A is the highest hygiene grade, followed by B, C, and D. Halal-certified providers additionally hold a MUIS certificate, which should appear on packaging and be verifiable on the MUIS website. Contact Wing Joo Loong directly to request their SFA licence details and hygiene grade before placing an order. Confinement meals are typically cooked the same day and delivered hot in microwave-safe, BPA-free containers within a roughly four-hour window. Confirm the twice-daily delivery slots, packaging type, and the substitute or refund policy if a delivery is missed. Order a trial meal and confirm the SFA hygiene grade (and MUIS halal certificate if relevant) before paying the package deposit.
