My wife and I did our yearly comprehensive health screening @ Binjai Clinic. Cheryl facilitated our registration promptly and Dr Mark was very detailed during consultation and always nice to catch up with him again. We took our annual flu jabs vaccines in anticipation to our winter travels.

We took our health checkup at Binjai medical this year & doctor Mark is VERY patient! He took a lot of time to explain & convince my mum of what needs to be done to be in better health while not being pushy about anything. The nurses & receptionists always make you feel comfortable asking for help & are all very endearing. Health checks are sometimes scary for old folks but my mum is at ease and comfortable for the first time, with all her questions answered. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Dr. Mark is attentive and listens well. He's thorough in his diagnoses and makes sure all bases are covered. Unlike most doctors, visits don't feel transactional - you actually leave feeling taken care of.

My husband and I go to Dr Mark Liew for sports related injury as he has training and knowledge in this field. Dr Liew is patient and clear with his explanations on the condition of our injuries. He always emphasizes the importance of staying active and recommends strength and weight training exercises for our age group. The clinic assistants (shoutout to Cheryl) are also friendly and helpful - which adds to a positive experience from each visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Wong Binjai Clinic King Albert Park charge?

GP consultation fees at private clinics in Singapore typically run S$25–60 per visit, with additional charges for investigations (blood panel S$60–200, urine test S$15–40), procedures (wound dressing, injections), and prescriptions. The clinic's profile lists a '$$' price indication, suggesting mid-range private GP pricing. Patients eligible for CHAS subsidies (Community Health Assist Scheme) — covering Singapore Citizens with a CHAS card — may receive subsidised consultation rates for chronic disease or acute visits, depending on the clinic's CHAS participation status. MediSave can be used for CDMP-listed chronic conditions up to S$700 per year and for selected vaccinations. Confirm these with the clinic directly before your visit. GST applies on private medical services. For any planned investigation or procedure, ask for an itemised estimate that splits insurance, MediSave, and out-of-pocket portions before proceeding. Is Wong Binjai Clinic King Albert Park MOH-licensed and how do I verify the doctor?

Every legitimate clinic in Singapore must hold an MOH Healthcare Services Licence issued under the Healthcare Services Act — verifiable on the MOH licensee directory at moh.gov.sg. Every practising doctor must also be on the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) public register at smc.gov.sg, where you can search by name to confirm registration status, any specialist accreditation, and disciplinary history. This profile does not currently list any regulatory licences, and ACRA registration is unconfirmed. This does not necessarily mean the clinic is unlicensed, but it does mean patients cannot verify compliance from this listing alone. It is strongly recommended that you confirm both the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence and the consulting doctor's SMC registration before booking. Verify the doctor's name on the Singapore Medical Council register and the clinic's MOH Healthcare Services Licence before booking, and for any planned procedure request a written financial counselling estimate that itemises insurance payout, MediSave deduction, and out-of-pocket portions before paying any deposit.

How do I use MediSave or insurance at Wong Binjai Clinic King Albert Park?

MediSave can be used at GP clinics for outpatient treatment of CDMP-listed chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, stroke, asthma, COPD, and selected mental health conditions, among others) up to S$700 per Medisave account per year, and for selected vaccinations. General outpatient visits outside CDMP conditions are capped at S$500 per year. Confirm whether the clinic is an accredited MediSave outpatient institution before assuming this benefit applies. Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) primarily cover inpatient and day-surgery costs; outpatient specialist consultations may be covered on selected insurer panels, but standard GP visits are generally not claimable under most IP riders. CHAS cardholders should confirm whether this clinic participates in the CHAS scheme for subsidised GP or chronic disease care. For any planned procedure or investigation, request a financial counselling conversation — even at a GP level, knowing your out-of-pocket exposure before blood work or a procedure is ordered avoids billing surprises.
