First of all, many thanks to coach Gilbert for being a fantastic and amazing coach. He was extremely patient with teaching and his explanation on all the details of the different tides and skills was very clear and concise. P.S. what ever coach advise you? Listen and adsorb it all, it will definitely benefit you. Let's not forget about Pat, coach Gilbert's lovely wife, she was extremely clear and efficient with the plans and messages. Even when I could not make it on Sundays, she was able to adjust the schedule to fit (of course the other participants agreed to it too). P.S. she loves taking photos so get your best pose ready! X'treme Kayaking is an absolute fabulous place, the equipments and facility is well-maintained. If anyone wants to earn their Kayaking stars or go on an expedition, you are in great hands. Once again, thank you coach Gilbert and Pat!

I did the 1 star and 2 star with Coach Gilbert. I was very impressed with the clarity of his explanations, his high safety standards, and his passion for sharing his knowledge. As with all good teachers, he is able to identify the mistakes we make and offer targeted instruction so we can improve. He also generously taught us more skills than what was required, so we could push ourselves even more. I would definitely recommend X'treme Kayaking to anyone who wants a fun, safe, and serious learning experience!

Really grateful to have chanced upon Coach Gilbert and Pat to learn 1 star kayaking. Pat and Coach Gilbert really go way back as I have friends who were under his care many years ago and highly recommended him as a coach when I was considering signing up for the 12 & 13 Nov 2022 course. As a non-swimmer, it was nerve-wracking to be in the water and even more so at my first capsize. However, slowly but surely, with Coach Gilbert patience and guidance, I definitely built my confidence to be on water and in water through kayaking on Day 2.

He is a very very experience coach & he is also very willing to impart his skills to all of his trainees. He could pinpoint our mistakes instantaneously & correct them immediately.
