Seriously I don't want to comment anything from the public medical institute.. But having coming here for "many" years.. standard no change but keep dropping.. Waiting time more longer.. Seeing the staff moving very relaxing. I guess the think we just live near to the hospital.. Worse of all some indication never want to specify clearly.. Came here for blood test. Need to fasting.. I was late but cannot take the blood test because need to before that timing.. They tell you to fast but not within a certain timing.. Having working late not enough sleep came over and was inform come back another day..🤦🤦😡😡. Now purposely come become a waste trip.. and it's not the first time! If not lousy arrangements in appointment time! Make you come every week for a month which can arrange the minimum visit. What the heck is with all this "medical centres"

My heartfelt gratitude and compliments to Dr Tee Ke Ran, Dr Heng Li Cheng, Professor Yap, nurses of ward 87, medical social workers and the allied health team of YCH. They took amazing care of my grandma throughout her 4-month stay as a Geriatric and subsequently Palliative care patient. Their support, thoughtfulness and dedication made the biggest difference to my family throughout the difficult days and grieving process. Although my grandma had dementia, Dr Tee, Dr Heng and the amazing nurses went above and beyond for her on the tough days and always treated her with dignity and care. My family and I are genuinely so touched and grateful to have them on our side. Thank you Prof Yap, Dr Tee, Dr Heng, nurses and staff for advocating and caring for our beloved Grandma Ruby until the end. Your kindness and efforts will never be forgotten 🤍

Nurses at D77 are horrible and inhumane... Extremely rude and unprofessional, can quarrel with patient's family members very loudly, badmouthing them, rolling their eyes etc, totally not caring about others who are at the same ward. But here are several things that happened to my grandma for me to write such a review: 1. My grandmother was transferred here from KTPH, we have reminded countless times for the nurses here to follow very simple instructions such as being gentle and leaving her water bottle beside her as she doesn't have any strength to lift herself up to take it from the table. Such instructions were totally ignored by ALL nurses, have asked if they have written it down anywhere, was told that they already have patients' records, but it's just an excuse for them to be lazy tbh... 3 different family members have reminded them but none of the nurses are willing to just take down this simple note, grandma was left thirsty for long hours, then they say she never urine... never drink water then how to urine ._. 2. Extremely rough when handling my grandma who have bedsores. They changed the timing of changing diapers, washing/cleaning to a non-visiting hour so that none of the family members can be there to monitor what they do. When we visited only then we heard from my grandma that she was in intense pain during that ordeal. Tugging or pulling her with very rough movements, she was in such pain that she had to call out. Is this what this hospital does to other patients as well? 3. This incident pissed me off the most. Asthma patients will most probably die here. My grandma have very serious asthma issues and she would need to use her inhalers whenever she have difficulty breathing. The nurses here prevented her from using it because "it's complicated, the doctor ordered a new medicine so have to wait for the new medicine to come then can use". I can totally understand that under normal circumstances, but if the patient is DESPERATE in need to use the inhaler???? She's already having DIFFICULTY BREATHING FOR GOD SAKE. Their response: "we will wait until the patient's mouth turned purple, then we will call for the doctor to see how". Wow... I was really speechless, how these nurses can be totally inhumane. We ended up just giving her the inhalers because she needs to BREATHE. Anyway, just hope that your family members won't be transferred or sent here, if really damn suay or no choice, please make sure to have someone by their side whenever possible... not sure about other wards or floors but the nurses at D77 should really learn to have some empathy and sympathy for patients. How do you expect people to respect you guys when you treat them like these?

The environment here is really peaceful. Unlike any other hospitals, here is not so “chaotic”. Staffs and nurses are all polite and friendly. Ample parking spaces and easy access to wards. You don’t have to walk so much.

Likened to that of a 5 star hotel or resort. A beautifully designed hospital with great facilities and very comfortable rooms and furnishings. Staff is very warm, attentive and friendly.
