Families looking to enrol a child should begin by enquiring about subject offerings and whether the syllabus aligns with their child's current school level — whether that is primary, secondary, or junior college. It is worth confirming whether the centre offers group tuition or one-to-one sessions, as class size can affect how much individual attention a student receives. Prospective students are encouraged to ask about term commitment requirements, any materials fees, and whether lessons are held on-site at Beauty World Centre or have an online option. A trial class is often the most practical way to assess whether the teaching style and pace suit your child.
To take the next step, reach out to Yiwen Tuition and Study Centre via phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about available slots for your child's level and to arrange a trial class before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Last time there was a very good teacher and my grades improved a lot. But the teacher quit because of the principal. There was a lot of teachers who quitted because of her . She abused students and said mean things to them and my friends hated it.
As a parent, I’m truly grateful for the support this Chinese enrichment centre has given my child. My child used to struggle with Chinese and had little interest in the subject. Since joining the classes here, not only has there been a noticeable improvement in results, but my child has also developed a genuine interest in the language—reading Chinese books at home and even practising oral conversations with us. The teachers are patient, engaging, and explain concepts clearly in a way that children can understand. The classroom environment is lively and encouraging, which helps my child stay focused and enjoy learning. I also appreciate that the centre regularly updates us on our child’s progress, so we can stay involved and support from home. Overall, the centre is both professional and caring—a trustworthy place for any parent who wants to help their child strengthen their Chinese language skills.
I’ve been with this tuition center for nearly 2years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My daughter’s PSLE results improved dramatically thanks to their dedicated teachers and structured programs. The principal and staff genuinely care about students’ success, and their professionalism shines through in every interaction. While I’ve seen recent negative reviews, my family’s experience has been the opposite. Teachers here go above and beyond—whether it’s staying late to clarify concepts or providing personalized feedback. And what impressed me was when the teacher and principal go all out to persuade me join the top-up PSLE exam simulation sessions before the actual PSLE, that was really helpful and effectively improved my daughter’s performance instantly. The principal maintains high standards to ensure quality (yes, she’s firm, but it’s clear she wants the best for students!). For example, when my daughter struggled with Chinese, the center assigned a specialist teacher who patiently helped her regain confidence. Not only academically coaching but also positive character building, my daughter used to be quiet with low confidence, but with the interactions with the center teachers and encouragement from principal she now has transformed with lively and lovely characters! And what stands out as a tuition center: ✅ Consistent results: My daughter’s grades improved steadily over the years. ✅ Professional, caring teachers: They adapt to students’ needs and celebrate small wins (even with sweets or encouragement!). ✅ Strong leadership: The principal ensures only the most qualified teachers guide students, even if it means tough decisions. The last but not least, to parents: Don’t let isolated criticisms discourage you. This center combines academic rigor with heartfelt support. We’re grateful for their role in my daughter’s journey!
Principle sucks pls don't come to this tuition. She always make us stays back for half an hr when my house is like 40min away and I got tuition after that. She will be shouting at us for no reason and keep changing the teachers. There was three good teachers buy because of her they quit the tuition and the most important thing is that the worksheet, notes given by here is rubbish, trash
When I was taught as a student here, I really enjoyed my time. The revision packages were up to date with the school exam syllabus, and prepared me for my exams. The friends made it fun too!

Many tuition centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, before requiring a term commitment. A trial is the most reliable way to assess whether the teaching pace, syllabus coverage, and classroom environment suit your child. During the trial, pay attention to how the tutor engages with students, whether the difficulty level is appropriate, and whether your child feels comfortable asking questions. If the centre uses a specific curriculum structure or assessment approach, ask the tutor to walk you through it. Contact Yiwen Tuition and Study Centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask whether a trial class is available and what the associated cost is.
Specific tutor credentials for Yiwen Tuition and Study Centre are not listed in the available public information. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a degree in the subject they teach, whether any have NIE training or prior MOE teaching experience, and how long they have been teaching at the centre. It is also worth confirming which syllabuses the tutors are familiar with — for example, the MOE national curriculum, IGCSE, IB, or other international frameworks — to ensure alignment with your child's school programme. Raise these questions directly with the centre before committing to a term so you can make an informed decision based on your child's specific academic needs.
