Families enquiring about a holiday camp place should first confirm which school holiday period they are targeting and the age group or developmental stage of their child, as camp programmes typically vary by term and cohort. It is worth asking whether the camp runs as a half-day or full-day format, what the group size and facilitator-to-child ratio looks like, and whether any materials or equipment are included in the fee. A trial session or open-day visit, where available, is a useful way to gauge whether the programme's pace and teaching approach suit your child before committing to a full camp block.
To take the next step, reach out to Young Nautilus via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about upcoming holiday camp schedules, age-group suitability, and current availability — places at popular holiday camps tend to fill quickly once school-term dates are confirmed.
Take the trial class and confirm the facilitator's actual credentials before committing to a full camp block.
We had a wonderful experience with Young Nautilus from the very start. The team was well organised and highly experienced, guiding us smoothly through our Sungei Buloh Mangrove Forest learning journey. They were enthusiastic and deeply involved from the pre-planning stage right through to the actual day of the field trips. The guides were informative and engaging, skillfully piquing the children’s interest while ensuring they learned to appreciate nature throughout the walk. We were truly encouraged and delighted to see how Young Nautilus is driven by its vision “to help students be inspired and empowered with life skills that assist them in adding new knowledge ‘chambers’ at various stages of life. Learning and gaining knowledge should never stop.” Experiences like these are invaluable in helping young children develop an appreciation for the natural environment that surrounds them.
A Dream Come True for Nature Lovers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a world away from the city’s skyscrapers. We had a brilliant guided tour that ended up being a major highlight of our stay. Our guide, Alya, was exceptional. She was warm, welcoming, and shared so many fascinating details about the ecosystem. For me, the absolute peak of the trip was seeing an owl in the wild (Buffy Fish Owl) - it has been a personal dream of mine for a very long time! We were also incredibly lucky to spot a Rhino Hornbill, which is mind-blowing considering they were absent from Singapore for 80 years. Alya’s sharp eyes also helped us find: * Sunbathing crocodile and several large monitor lizards * Cute bats, mudskippers and horse shoe crabs * A lot of truly creepy, crawly (and big!!) spiders (definitely not for the faint-hearted!) * A Pit Viper snake camouflaged in the greenery It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend this tour and Alya highly enough
Lovely tour by Evangeline and Samuel for our littles ones who thoroughly enjoyed themselves discovering sea cucumbers, hermit and moon crabs, glass anemone and sand dollars!
I and my 2 children had a very enjoyable walk with our guide Navin. He was very enthusiastic and clear in his explanation. We learnt so much in the 2 hr walk at Changi Beach. He was knowledgeable too about the many animals we saw. The communication with the organiser from the registration to the actual day meeting was always prompt and informative. I look forward to more walks with Young Nautilus.
It was an enjoyable and insightful experience for both my daughter and I. Glad that the weather was good and we discovered many animals in the "wild". But even if not, the Young Nautilus team already prepared some animals at different points to show us. Our guide, Navin, was also very knowledgeable and friendly.

Young Nautilus is priced in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore holiday camps, though specific per-session or per-camp-block fees were not published at the time of this listing. Holiday camp pricing in Singapore typically varies by programme duration (half-day vs full-day), camp length (3-day intensive vs full-week), and any specialist materials or equipment involved. It is also common for providers to charge a separate registration or administrative fee, and sibling or early-bird discounts are worth asking about. Contact Young Nautilus directly via WhatsApp or phone for a current fee schedule. See the full Holiday Camps cost guide for Singapore →
Many holiday camp providers in Singapore offer a trial day or open session, particularly for first-time participants, so it is worth asking Young Nautilus whether this option is available for their upcoming programme. A trial or open-house visit lets you assess whether the camp's pace, activity type, and group dynamic are a good fit for your child's interests and learning style before committing to a full block. When evaluating fit, observe how facilitators engage with the group, whether the activities are pitched at an appropriate level, and how the camp handles children who need extra encouragement or a slower pace.
Specific facilitator credentials were not available in the listing data for Young Nautilus. For holiday camps, relevant backgrounds typically include early childhood education, sports coaching, arts facilitation, or a specialist discipline aligned with the camp theme. It is reasonable to ask directly about the lead facilitator's qualifications, years of experience running camps for the relevant age group, and how the programme is structured to ensure child safety and engagement. First-aid certification and a favourable child-to-facilitator ratio (generally 8:1 or better for younger age groups) are also worth confirming before enrolment.
