When enquiring about a helper, expect to discuss whether you need a new-hire placement or a transfer helper, as these carry different placement fees and timelines. You will also need to factor in the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or the concessionary S$60 if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. Confirm what is bundled into the quoted fee — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Ask about the replacement guarantee window and the process if a placement does not work out, including repatriation costs on early termination.
Contact 1st Allbest Human Resource Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm their current MOM EA Licence status, helper availability by nationality, and the full cost breakdown before paying any deposit.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
If I can give 10 stars, I would and I’ll give all the stars to Lily Chiew. Without her, I won’t consider the agency as she is not only one of the best but she Is The Best. So thankful for her 🙏🏽 honest, sincere and genuine. Thank you Lily
Mheg was the agent I stay contacted with, introduce by one of my friend who has approached her service before. No doubt she did a great job on showing different profile of the helper an explained to me clearly on each helper stats. Easy going staff. I had hired a helper from them and so far so good, no problem at all, thanks alot for the help Mheg, and allbest agency.
Extremely Disappointed with 1st Allbest I had a very disappointing experience with 1st Allbest. Mheg, the agent I was liaising with, was unresponsive and displayed a really poor attitude throughout. It felt like they were only interested in collecting their agency fees rather than genuinely helping either the employer or the helper. There was no proper communication, no sense of responsibility, and certainly no effort to understand what we needed. It’s clear they operate with a profit-first mindset, not a people-first one. Definitely not the kind of agency I would recommend if you’re looking for someone who actually cares.
Our last helper decided to returned home immediately and last agent resigned. Having a new born at home, this sudden turn of event and no one to turn to messed up our entire life and schedule. After a few call to the hotline, Mheg pick up our call and immediately jump into the case to help us negotiate with our existing helper and find a replacement helper within a month. She is very well organize and professional and experience in her work. She able to find a right profile for us within a few days. Definitely will recommend friends to her.
I'm writing to express my appreciation to Derek Chai for his excellent service in finding a suitable Filipino helper for my family. He efficiently understood our needs and delivered results quickly. The helper has settled in well and is providing excellent care. Thank you for your outstanding service. We highly recommend Derek to anyone seeking a reliable maid agent.

Placement fees for a new-hire helper typically run S$1,500–3,500 through Singapore maid agencies; a transfer helper (already in Singapore on a valid Work Permit) usually costs S$500–1,500. On top of the agency fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM monthly levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for eligible households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67+, or a person with disability). Confirm exactly what is bundled into the quoted fee — mandatory FDW insurance (roughly S$300–600/year), the Settling-In Programme, pre-employment medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is charged on top. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades signal stronger compliance and complaint-handling track records. No MOM EA Licence is listed in the data available for 1st Allbest Human Resource Pte Ltd at the time of publication. Before paying any deposit, search for the agency by name on the MOM EA directory to confirm its current licensed status. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you without recourse if a placement breaks down, and can void your FDW insurance.
The standard replacement window at Singapore maid agencies is typically six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm how many replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented performance issues versus a change of mind), and the cost of any additional replacements beyond the covered number. Also clarify the early-termination process if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window — the household is responsible for the repatriation flight, refund of unused levy to MOM, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. Understanding these costs upfront helps you assess the true risk of a placement that does not work out. Contact 1st Allbest Human Resource Pte Ltd directly to obtain their current guarantee terms in writing.
