I am extremely disappointed with the quality of helpers and overall experience with this agency. I experienced the following over a short span of two months: Dec to Feb. The first helper provided had very poor basic English and communication skills and showed a poor working attitude. She frequently feigned illness, claimed her hands were itchy and said she was unable to do housework, and repeatedly mentioned that she wanted to return to Myanmar. She created constant drama, cried almost every day, and even used her phone while assisting an elderly person, which is completely unacceptable. The second helper was a replacement and it was introduced by the agency, and I had to pay all service fees, insurance, and placement loan again. On the first day of arrival, she said she was homesick and wanted to go back to Myanmar, which was never disclosed during the interview process. Her working attitude was terrible and posed serious safety concerns — she left a puddle of water on the floor at night (dangerous for anyone, especially the elderly) and opened the gate wide just to take a phone call, compromising household security. Overall, the quality control of helpers at this agency is very poor. New helpers appear to have zero knowledge of basic household chores and everything must be taught from scratch by the employer. Meanwhile, so-called “experienced” helpers are allowed to pick employers and make excuses to leave, with the financial burden placed entirely on the employer each time. I strongly urge others to think carefully before engaging this agency, as the costs are high and the risk is entirely borne by the employer.
