Making Sense is the best Alevel chemistry tuition I have even went to! The chemistry tutors are really hardworking and always do their best to help us understand various concepts. They make lessons so fun and enlightening which have really built up my interest in chemistry! Despite not really liking chemistry at the start, I really look forward to going to tuition and expanding my knowledge about this subject! You will not regret joining!

Making Sense is arguably the best (and most value for money) chemistry tuition in Singapore! The notes given to us were extremely concise and help us prepare well for exams. Not only that, Mr William and Mr Kelvin (A level Chemistry Tutors) are extremely competent and passionate about what they teach, making lessons a lot more enjoyable and engaging. My chemistry grades have improved significantly after joining Making Sense and I am really thankful. :)

Chemistry tuition in Singapore typically runs on either a per-session basis or a bundled monthly or term fee. For small group classes, market rates generally sit in the S$60–S$120 per session range depending on level, while one-to-one sessions tend to be higher. Can I try a class before committing?

Many chemistry tuition centres offer a trial class so that students can assess whether the teaching approach, pace, and level of the material suit them before signing up for a full term. During a trial, it is worth paying attention to how concepts are explained, whether the tutor addresses gaps in the student's foundation, and whether the class size allows for sufficient interaction. Contact Making Sense Chemistry via WhatsApp or phone to ask whether a trial class is available, what the cost is, and what to bring along. This is also a good opportunity to ask about the tutor's background and which syllabuses they cover.

What are the tutors' credentials at "Making Sense Chemistry"?

Tutor credentials are not listed publicly for Making Sense Chemistry. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold a relevant degree in chemistry or a related science discipline, whether any have prior MOE teaching or NIE-trained backgrounds, and how long they have been teaching the specific syllabus your child is sitting — for example, MOE O-Level or A-Level, IP, IGCSE, or IB chemistry. Syllabus alignment matters as much as subject knowledge, so it is worth confirming that the tutor is familiar with the current examination format and mark-scheme expectations. Contact Making Sense Chemistry directly to ask about the specific tutor assigned to your child's class level.
