I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Nurse Bibiana for the exceptional care she provided to my mum following her fistula surgery in early January 2026. From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and highly attentive in managing my mumβs daily wound dressing. Her professionalism and gentle approach gave us great reassurance during a challenging period. What we are especially grateful for is the extra effort she took to guide our helper step by step on how to perform the dressing properly. She ensured that our helper was fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and confidence to care for my mum on Sundays, when the polyclinics are closed. This thoughtful guidance has made a significant difference in maintaining continuity of care at home. We truly appreciate her dedication, compassion, and commitment to her patientsβ well-being. Thank you, Nurse Bibiana, for going above and beyond.
I would like to sincerely express my appreciation for Sri Rahayu (ICS: Interim Care Service). Although I do not stay with my father, I am closely involved in managing his care during a very challenging period of his health. Having Rahayu there to assist him has given me reassurance and peace of mind. Caring for someone who is physically weak and fully dependent requires patience and compassion. Rahayu carried out her duties responsibly β assisting with daily hygiene, changing pampers, managing his oxygen needs, and ensuring his comfort β all with gentleness and sincerity. What I appreciate most is the way she treated my father with dignity and kindness. As his daughter, that means more to me than words can express. During a time when I was juggling many responsibilities, her support truly eased my burden. She is hardworking, willing to learn, and always tries her best. I am deeply grateful for her service and sincerely hope she will be placed with an employer who values and respects her dedication. May she continue to be blessed for her kindness. π€
I engaged Global Active Care Giver for two weeks of interim care services for my late mother. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. Both caregivers assigned were from Myanmar and did not appear to be medically trained or qualified nurses. Throughout the care period, I had to personally instruct and closely monitor them on what to do. When my mother was unable to perform any exercise therapy, the caregivers would mostly sit down and use their phones instead of providing proactive care or assistance. The contract clearly stated working hours from 8am to 8pm, yet both caregivers consistently left early at 7pm, which is a direct breach of the agreed service terms. I only managed to use their service for two days, as my mother sadly passed away on the second day. I immediately contacted their admin staff, Shanix, to inform them that I needed to stop the interim care service. Despite the circumstances being completely beyond our control, I was informed that cancellation fees would still apply. I had hoped the company would show compassion and waive the fees given the situation, but they insisted on charging me regardless. Overall, I found the service to be lacking in professionalism, compassion, and value. The caregivers felt more like domestic helpers rather than certified or trained nursing staff. I would not recommend Global Active Care Giver, especially for families seeking proper medical or professional caregiving services during such critical and emotional times.
Syaqilah and Zuhairah have been caring for my mum for the past three years, and their compassion and dedication have been truly commendable. My mum always looks forward to their visits and genuinely enjoys communicating with them. As a senior living at home alone, these visits have helped fill her life with meaningful routines and companionship. They have become an important part of her daily activities and her senior journey. Thank you so much, from both me and my mum. Keep up the wonderful work.
We engaged Active Global Interim services a second time. This time, Nan Yin Hla was assigned to us. She is the best, very professional and skillful. Her English is good. She is a fast learner. My brother is mentally slow and mild autistic, IQ of 5 years old but Nan was able to communicate well with him. He had a fall mid Dec. Upon discharge, he needed help in showering and continued physio. The OT at the hospital taught him the showering skills but Nan enhanced it by ensuring he was able to do it himself, reminding him of the tactics, so that he would not aggravate the torn muscles on his left shoulder. She was very caring that his safety is first. She complimented him when he did a task well. She was also very encouraging to him. She relieved me during the time before the CNY and 2 days after. We had a real good time with Nan. Now he is good to go to Active Global Day Care. Canβt say enough of my thanks and appreciation for Nan. She had taken care of many cancer patients and elderlies. They are not able to write reviews in this manner but speaking on behalf of patients needing care, Nan she well deserves recognition and rewards from Active Global management.
