New clients typically begin with a first consultation in which the TCM practitioner assesses the presenting condition — whether musculoskeletal pain, sports injury, stress-related tension, or a chronic internal concern — before recommending a course of acupuncture, tui na, or a combination of both. It is worth clarifying whether the initial consultation is charged separately from the first treatment, what the recommended frequency and number of sessions looks like for your condition, and whether packages are available for ongoing care. Clients with contraindications such as pregnancy, bleeding disorders, or active skin conditions should disclose these at the first appointment. A cancellation policy is worth confirming at booking.
To take the next step, reach out to Acupuncture and Tui Na Chinese Medicine Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to describe your condition and schedule a first consultation at the Toa Payoh clinic.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
1st time trying this outlet and was paired with Massuese Thuy. Came here with neck and shoulder pain. She focused her time on the knots and really put in the strength and effort into easing them out. I felt much relief after the 90min session. Compared to other massage places in the area, this outlet focuses on acupuncture points rather than just going through the massage motions. Staff are also friendly and respectful. Would come back again.
Just had a really great body massage with Ella. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Her massage technique was spot on — relaxing but also got into the tight spots. I walked out feeling so much better. The place was clean and had a nice, chill vibe too.
My second time here today and the service is consistently professional, at the same time friendly and courteous. This humble place is simple and clean, with a fair price in the Braddell neighborhood. Most importantly is the skill of the masseurs here. Had Tui Na massage today by Francis and he was extremely skillful to aid my stiff neck and lower back pain. Will definitely come back again sometime soon! Please keep up the amazing work!
This is my 2nd visit and look for Ms Thuy. Felt much lighter and the pain spots that she targeted loosen and less pain after massage. She is very skillful.
My masseuse Sunny was truly amazing at relieving the deep-seated knot in my neck and shoulder that had been bothering me for over a decade. I’ve tried various Tui Na and massage therapists over the years, but she truly focused on the problem area and worked diligently to release the tension. On top of her skill, she’s warm, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. Highly recommended!

Specific session fees were not published in the listing, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. As a general reference, TCM consultations in Singapore typically run S$20–50, with acupuncture treatments ranging from S$40–100 per session and tui na from S$50–120 depending on duration. Initial consultations are sometimes charged separately from the first treatment. Many TCM practices offer session packages — for example, a block of six or ten sessions at a discount — which can reduce the per-session cost for ongoing conditions. Confirm whether materials such as needles, cupping equipment, or topical liniments are included in the session fee or billed separately. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →
No formal referral is required to book a first appointment at a TCM clinic. The practitioner will conduct an intake assessment at your first visit — this typically includes pulse and tongue diagnosis, a review of your medical history, and questions about your presenting complaint, sleep, digestion, and lifestyle. It is useful to bring a list of any medications or supplements you are taking. A GP referral is not necessary for most TCM treatments, but it can be helpful if you are planning to claim under a corporate healthcare benefit or Medisave (Medisave covers certain TCM acupuncture treatments for chronic conditions at registered clinics). Clients with complex medical histories, pacemakers, bleeding disorders, or who are pregnant should disclose this before treatment begins, as some modalities carry contraindications.
TCM practitioners in Singapore are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is mandatory for anyone practising acupuncture, tui na, or prescribing Chinese proprietary medicines — it is not voluntary. You can verify any practitioner's registration on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg before your first appointment. Note that the clinic's ACRA registration was not confirmed in this listing. Before booking, ask for the treating practitioner's full name and TCMPB registration number so you can cross-check on the public register. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
